Root [MOD] Remove slide lock when pattern lock is set up (.595 only)

This is for stock GB 4.5.595.

This will remove the slide lock when you have a pattern lock set up. Thanks to Fabolous for pointing me in the right direction.

As far as I'm concerned, you don't have nearly enough "Thanks" for all the little mods you spit out constantly.

If I had anywhere near the time or energy, it'd be pretty cool to build a "kitchen" where you could cook up your own .zip file depending on the mods you wanted and the base framework you wanted to start with.
 
Is there a way to whip up a zip for the app widget picker for the stock GB??? Or has that been done already??

Why do you need a zip?

Copy the APK into /system/app, change the permissions, and reboot. Done.

If you apply this, you will lose battery 10%, CRT, or any framework-res.apk related mods.

I flashed the CRT, Blue battery, Rotation, plus Pattern Unlock zip and now it just sets on the red eye, any ideas?
 
Bouchigo I have your other mods. If I flash one of these which one should I flash? Being I have all your mods should I just flash the whole 9 yards?

Well... a zip file won't help you, then. That's the install process. The zip file will just automate it - there's nothing mysterious that the zip file accomplishes, it just runs a script to manipulate the copies to and from the file system.

I have AppWidgetPicker 1.2.3 installed on Gingerbread rooted/deodexed leak v.595. Copied to /system/app, set permissions to user +rw, group +r, other +r. Reboot, works great.

Got 1.2.1 installed through r/e. Where did you get 1.2.3? Can I has the apk from you? :)
 
I would like the settings menu , contacts and the dialer one out of this zip. Can I just extract the apk's and replace them in r/e and reboot and be good?

I meant out of the BWC theme zip, sorry...

You will definitely need to apply the deodexer before applying a mod, now that you've restored a backup or you will end up with FC errors or stuck in boot animation again.

Get this deodexer file on your sd card:
GB_2.3.3_4.5.595_Deodexed.zip

Once you have done this, get into CWR and apply the deodexer; it will take 3-5 minutes to boot into the OS. Once in the OS, you can go back into CWR and apply the mod with no issues.
