My buddy has a tmobile galaxy s2 and I have a motion 4g.
We were bored and started comparing benchmarks and the results are interesting

Both phones are rooted stock roms

MOTION 4G

Galaxy S2

Well comparing a newer 1 year old motion to the older 2 year old galaxy s2, of course the motion will come out on top.

This is what I call an unfair dog fight :p :)

Nothing against LG Motion owners but why is it so important that this phones benchmark score make u so happy. U all have been tricked if the phone was so good it would not have dropped to 50 dollars. Hell the old admire came back selling for more, does that make it better NO. So you cannot compare the motion to an s2 or s3 at all based off of a score from an app

A benchmark like this measures the computing power, and computing speed, of the device..

A higher score is desirable because it relates to things like feeling "Snappy", overall responsiveness, and boot speed.

It's not "Important", and the price doesn't matter as much as the performance.

Also, by running the same tests on each device you CAN compare the overall "Power" of the device.. after that it just becomes subjective. In regards to features of the phones, each person will value each feature differently, so those results become personal preference.

Would you prefer to pay $50 for a phone that has a strong, fast, processor.

Or would you be happier if the phone cost $400-$500 with the same features?

apples and oranges. Of course the Motion scored better, has newer and better hardware, well except the pos 3.5" display. And yes I would pay more for a device thats not locked down and I can mod how I want too. ;)
