moto 360: now or later (thinking out loud)

Any Best Buy employees in the Pittsburgh area know which stores will have it? Do you still have to wait for noon or will it be available when the store opens?
 
Well I was at the Best Buy in Robinson PA at 10:00. The guy there said they're not in the system yet and he thinks he heard they were being released in October. So yeah. This has been a positive experience so far.
 
Damn...all thay waiting. That metal bands....just didn't look right. Very cheap, clunky looking. Something about them I can't get past. Sigh, I'll be holding off and waiting for version 2. Good luck all with your purchases, can't wait to read about the experiences!
 
Looking at both, I don't know which to get now lol. Both the black/black and Silver/Grey looks sexy. I definitely want to get those metal bands. On a side note...is it just me or does the sliver version look completely different from the renders we've seen? I mean as far as the coloring goes? The renders looked better in my opinion. Maybe it's the shading?

Crap...Had to do something at work, came back to finish checkout and sold out on BestBuy.com! That was fast...LOL
 
Well, I couldn't get through the FINAL stage of the order with Motorola, but Best Buy came through! I have one waiting for me at the store, 90 minutes away... and I'm gonna go get it RIGHT NOW!

I had one store an hour away say available for pick up. Go through the process...not available.

Not at all. I'm so dumbfounded, when I went to order it online (after two trips to Best Buy and a phone call with a VERY rude CSR that said "We're not selling it yet, SIR") I just canceled the order. They're already on backorder on the website, saying it's not available until 9/9.

I'm a release day addict. Every phone I've had so far I've had on release day. I have $250 in my hand that Moto just won't take. After being shot down this many times over a device that I really don't need but want, I started thinking, do I really need this?

I hope you do but I wouldn't trust it because of best buys insane computer system.

Glad you got in. I didn't make the cut...too slow! Oh well, I'll just wait for the next replenish of stock from Best Buy.
 
I called both my Best Buy and Verizon and they both had no clue as to when they were getting it. Really...no clue.

We've been patient since March. Actually, I just swallowed my anger. Took a deep breath. Went to the Moto website to place my order. "Product not available. Click here to be notified when it's ready."

Just called BB again. Guy actually said to me that he hadn't heard of the device until just today and that he doesn't even have an item number for it. That you can only buy it directly from Motorola and BB isn't selling it for a month. Hmph.

Yeah now that I look at it, it's just the shading that makes it look darker.
 
I been going back and forth on whether to get the black or silver. I'm leaning towards black because the screen pops out more. hmmmmm....
