Moto G5 Plus - How to factory reset

Should the day come that you need to send your phone in for repairs or perhaps you just want to sell it, you'll need to erase all the personal data you have stored on the device (apps, photos, etc.). You can do this by following these steps:
  • Open the Settings app
  • Scroll down and select Backup & reset
  • Tap on Factory data reset
  • Confirm you'd like to erase all data from your phone's internal storage, including apps, music, photos, and other user data (excludes SD card), tap RESET PHONE
  • Confirm your password/PIN/pattern to continue
  • Wait for phone to reboot
