Root Motorola Petition Update [12/16/2012]

All,

The petition I started has finally hit 600 signatures!!! Thank you all that have participated!!! So what is next you ask? Well what is next is we need someone, and or multiple people willing to go make a visit to Motorola Headquarters which is located in Libertyville, Illinois to take the 15 pages worth of signatures.

If multiple people are willing to make the trip and we can set a time everyone can agree on and can contact the local news, and media about the outrage Motorola users have had past and present regarding the lack of support for the Motorola Triumpg device. If anyone who seriously wants to get involved please let me know.

I fear that dropping it off physically will just have it picked up by the front desk clerk, who won't know what to do with it.

A better idea might be just overnighting it to Motorola Mobility's CEO, Dennis Woodside. A second copy might go to Rick Osterloh, who is in charge of product management.

Keep in mind that this management was brought in by Google, months after the release of the Triumph. I'm not sure these people think much about that model.

There's also the Sprint VP in charge of VMUSA, Jeff Auman.

Crazier things have happened. It's too late to give up, and your pessimism is of no help here.

Great work G60. Even if nothing comes of it, I'm still impressed by the motivation of the community here! It could encourage better support for the future, and assist them in creating a better business model.

I'm down to go.Just got me 35 gallons of gas saved up in containers for a trip just this will be the trip.Message me when we got enough takers
 
I would love to go G60, but I'm sure if I told my wife i wanted to drive all the way down there she would look at me like I was a space alien:(:(

Space alien just cause you are going to Illy?What if you flew?.......wait that would seem more space alien like lol.
 
Flying would be out of the question as well. The wife doesn't quite get my enthusiasm for the android OS as it is or technology for that matter.:D
