Root Move to SD Problems

I did a minor search on this and couldn't find any info. I'm hopeing someone will have some kind of help. I'm rooted and curretnly use the CM7 Rom. I decided to move over to Koni III because I thought this was just a CM7 issue, but every time I move an app to the SD card it litterally moves the entire app to the SD card and I can't access it... Anyone know how to work around this?

when you say an app, are you referring to an apk or the ESIII rom?

Really? How are you moving them? Do all apps you move have the issue? If you go to manage apps and find one it hasnt retained the 4kb (typical) data on the internal?

It seems you are aware that the system retains a small amount of data using app2sd on the internal so that it may access the file from the sd card, usually retains 4kb. This method cannot be used to move some apps. Some apps will have limited/no functionality if moved to the sd card using apps2sd.

Using dark tremors is my method of choice. It moves the entire app to external storage and utilizes a symlink to access the information it needs. Most people suggest that you have a class 6 card or higher. I have seen good quality class 4 cards doing the trick though.

Try dowloading and flashing dark tremors a2sd. its not verified it works with cm7 yet but i have heard that it in fact does work successfully though when initially installed it will reboot a few times before booting up, then everything should be well. Works great of course on most 2.2. Im not sure how it will work if you are using a class 2 card either but if it doesnt work well its a simple terminal command to remove it...a2sd remove...

Are you just clicking the move to sd card button when you are managing your applications? I run CM7 RC4 and have moved over most of my apps this way without a problem.
