Root Moving apps from SD card to phone question..

I am running Mik 3.0 and am having some pretty ugly lag issues with a few games. Mobage ones to be specific. I was thinking the problem might be that the games are on my sd card which is the 8GB class 2 that came with my phone. Would putting these games on my phone remove some lag? Also, I think a2sd is in Mik 3.0 and when I go to manage apps it says the game is already on my SD card but the only option it gives me is to move it to the SD card. (where it already is) How do I get it to my phone FROM the SD card if the only option I'm seeing is to move it from the SD card to the SD card? lol

do you have your card partitioned? if so then you will need terminal emulator and the type su and press enter then type a2sd remove now this will move all of your apps back to the phone.

Make sure you have plenty of room to move all your apps back. You can create a real nightmare for yourself. I did that once and got a boot loop and no matter what I did I could not remove it. I ended up going back to a Nandroid and leaving the apps where they were. Thankfully I Had just backed up everything before I tried that venture which was a oh what happens if I do this.

Yeah Dumb aint even the word for that f up :D

So there is no way to move just the one app I want back to the phone? Its an all or none situation? That is super dumb. :( Rooting my phone has given me all sorts of freedom to do things as I see fit. This is the first time i've ran into something I could do just fine before root and now have no options after root.

actually you couldn't do it before root. Apps 2 SD not to be confused with a2sd does not actually move the app it only moves its data. Cache / and App stayed on the phone. You have to remember a2sd was written to remove apps from the phone to give you more space.

Now lets see if we can just get the one program over on your phone. Do you have TB?(Titanium Backup)

I do have TB. And I probably will just get a better SD card but in the meantime it would be sweet if there was a way to get this one app onto my phone :)

ok with titanium backup you can change an app to a system app or a user app so if you just want to do the game longpress on the game in titanium and from the list choose "convert to system app". lets see if that works for you

Well, that seemed promising until I tried it and it said that action required the paid version of the TB. It is a good app but unfortunately I am not in a position to be purchasing apps right now. And if I remember right, I think it was like 7 or 8 bucks. Tha'ts a lot for an app! ><
