Sorry, why compile Jellybean? I'm confused. There has never been reason to downgrade operating systems from their current O/S on phones. Is it impossible? No. Will it work? Maybe not at all, maybe you will need an expert from LG to do it. Kernel upgrades for newer O/S's will porbably break it for older O/S's. Plus, you do not have a tree for jellybean. You will be wasting a lot of time trying to build something nobody would want. :p
 
For the display-caf-new and all those packages, use display-caf from the cm12 tree. cm12 no longer uses -new.

Fix the boardconfig, it's really simple.

Do anybody think cm12 for the l90 will work on the l70. Just wanted an opinion before i flashed it. I read on 4pa that the lg l70 325 could use l90 stock 4.4.4 kdz so they have to be somewhat compatiable

I mean, when you change in source code all things, you can use it. Because L70 and L90 is probably same.
It's only my opinion...
 
If you wanna build based on my source, then pull my repo and sync using the instructions here, cm12 manifest is also up but you'll have to figure out the basics on what you have to change in the tree based on the manifest, @sammyz already explained above. I'm too busy to update my tree for cm12 right now.

Bootanimation is choppy
I believe some of these issues can be fixed by a new kernel / kernel edits....

Let's see, Model number is changeable in build.prop

Flash and Torch are broken, using a third party app says LED is in use

Boot animation is choppy because this ROM was made for another variant, meaning it isn't optimized for our phones.

We would probably have to edit the kernel to get the ROM to support it.

Since the phone is loading all of the system processes, that one minute of lag is it loading everything for CyanogenMod to function properly. It isn't noticeable on other phones with a stable build, but on ours, since it isn't a stable build, you can really tell.
 
Guess the only way to get this done is look up a tutorial on how to edit the kernel and put the video drivers in there and directories

Well, if we made the boot animation play for 10 extra seconds the lag would be a little less noticeable.
 
Download this zip. https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23501681358544509 use build.prop tweaks and whatever else you want I chose to install viper...way better than dsp manager and for your theme use this one...absolute best for this ROM right now miui-v6 ...I think its on playstore but if not download aptoide and get it

I'm building cm11 from chevans source for you guys. I'm not able to test the majors (Camera etc) because I dropped my phone in a glass of soda, but I can boot to see if it at least does that. I'll upload when it finishes for you guys to play with.

Oh, I was gonna do that tonight when I get home. :D
Takes me 45 minutes to build the source.
