Root Multi-Touch works on all ROMs (Includes Maps & Browser fix!)

I got2.1 rooted, but can't get my phonbe to connect in flash mode. Did everything stated before, when I connect the phone, the green light goes on. I hit the OK button and wait. The phone turns on.... Any suggestions???
 
I've got the file downloaded, on my SDcard, and located. When I attempt to copy it to the /permissions folder, i get a message saying there isn't enough free space. How can there not be enough space for a 0.86 KB file in a system folder? What do I need to do to make this work?

Try uninstalling an app or 2

multi-touch makes not a lot of difference to me but its was there to install so it had to be done.

Haha, that's how I feel about installing different roms... I get that most are speedier, but I mean... unless I am on my way to the emergency room.. what's the big deal about a zippy phone? It's fun to tinker though :)
 
Well... now with 2.1 and Dual Touch the phone is now what i was meant to be....at lauch... almost a year ago... oh well i love my phone even more now.

pls help me in installing dual touch. i am using eminence rom and i am unable to flash the dualtouch through the latest flash tool flash-tool-0.2.6. Pls help it is very very urgent

I couldnt get that to work, So I downloaded Binary's Mod file from the xda.
other than that the Insructions are Spot on.

I couldnt get that to work, So I downloaded Binary's Mod file from the xda.
This file is on the Post where you download the latest 0.26 flash.exe
just scroll down, till you see
"Dual touch addon for any X10i/X10a (thanks to Bin4ry) (MD5: 4884A39E40CFC3550D51626D834AC185)"
Download that and use the original insructions subing the Dualtouch.rar for the Dual touch addon for any X10i/X10a file

i just downloaded and tested the file under " Extract the Dualtouch.rar from here" and it worked fine

Maybe i did something wrong. but i extracted and copied to the firmwares folder, ran Flash tool and when i clicked flash there was nothing there, tried run as admin etc but nothing. until i found binarys file on xda then it worked perfect.
so at what point did i got wrong?
