My Desire, and why I'm keeping it.

I was aware the iphone app amrket wasnt as good as the android 1 but i still chose android for many reasons, 1 thing i will do when ive ha dthe phone for abut a year is think about rooting it,

I am very happy with my desire. But yes I do wish we had the same sort of selection and quality as the apple app store. I do believe over time that the android market will catch up and pass the apple app store. In the mean time I have my iPod touch.

Have the option to upgrade to the sgs2 right now, if I wanted, but I'm not going to. The desire has a lot of life left in it yet. It's the phone which introduced me to android and will always have a place in my heart :)

I also wish the quality and selection of apps was as good on Android as it was on iOS devices like the iPhone and iPod touch... BUT Android Market is still very good and its growing at a faster rate than iOS so it will likely exceed the quality and selection of iOS in time as it's growing faster and there are always new developers starting on Android. I will use my phone for most apps but the ones that I can't get on Android or aren't as good as Android, gaming apps in particular I use my iPod touch for. Android market is getting better and we will just have to wait and see where it goes. :)
