Root Myn's 2.2 vs. MikFroyo 4.4

Yup switched back to 4.1.9 and things are a little better. Still getting that odd unresponsive screen issue. Have narrowed it down to only ocurring 60-90 secs after reboot

That almost sounds like some app or another trying to load. Installing anything different lately?

just wimax key checker.

which btw just had issues restoring with titanium. I found that interesting

o well. mik started acting up again on different kernels so I flashed rsl 5 this am

i am actually about ready to give up on my phone and go back to a "dumb" phone, or no phone at all.

it's been fun tho

It's funny you mention wimax key checker. I had it do something weird, albeit completely different than any of your issues. After running it and rebooting, I had to grant su permissions to all my apps again. It basically wiped out the white list.

Since you've gone back to myn's keep everything exactly the same as you had it on miks - kernel, apps, everything. See if it does the same thing eventually. I just don't see how mik's could have been a problem, especially after a week... Had you flashed any other mods?

I think I have the basics all set up..now to start doing all the craziness that prolly caused it :P

I used Titanium Backup to restore my apps after I flashed Myn's Warm 2.2 RLS5, but I only restored "non-ROM" apps (if that makes sense). Like, I didn't restore GMail settings or Calendar settings, etc. If I had any doubts how much an app would be ROM dependent, I didn't restore it. Worked like a charm and did save me a little time over reconfiguring everything from scratch.
