Root Nandroids and such???

Do any of you guys have a 'preferred' download site for the Deck's Reloaded ROM? Any particular build or release I should look for? Of course I'm implying "stable"!

It's very stable. You'll find a thread here on the forums linking you to XDA where you will find the download links and other important information. Read it

I went over to a friend's house who happens to be a rooted-phone-user and he helped get it back!...

Quick question...

My friend is a Clockworkmod user and since he is he went ahead and used it to get the nand back. Now I have cm as my recovery! How do I go back to using amon ra? Just flash it again and then it will become the default recovery?...thanks :)

you can't flash the recovery.img file like you would a rom file in recovery. you will need to use a PC36IMG file and have the bootloader install it. you can use the http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all...ooting-dummies-guide-gingerbread-edition.html. go to the switching recoveries section for instructions on how to amon ra2.3.

edit:your cwm nandroids willl not work with amon rs2.3, however.

Sorry! Forgot to mention that I will be doing a fresh flash as if it were the first one ever after root. Just changing my ROM. I doubt I will be doing that today due to lack of time but when I do I'll be spending time reading and re-reading the Guild!

Yes it's baked in. Just go to wireless and network settings. No app needed as far as I know (I never really use it, baked in has always worked on deck when I needed it).

Also, you CAN rename nandroid backup folders....I usually put an underscore and then a brief description (NO SPACES), so it looks something like this

XXXXXXXX_deckreloadedmason

That way I have somewhat of an idea of what I'm restoring.

Also, will I need to flash gapps with this ROM?
