Been on trusted LPI for ages now, no real problems at all.
Is LPY much different/better?

I find LPY excellent, battery life is great with Siyah 4.1.5, things seem slightly more buttery/smooth and as yet I've had no issues at all.
I'm going to do a rough test battery wise over this weekend. I'll charge it, use it and see how long it lasts. I'm currently running no tweaks at all to the kernel. I don't seem to be relying on the car charger as much since I updated from NEAT LPI, but I will see. Just to let you all know I use Sygic navigation very heavily at work. There is no way my SGSII would last an entire work day on a full charge without my trusty car charger. Sat Nav of any type, drains battery enormously.

How come it destroys camera function? I don't get it.

Eh ? The only problem, and it's not a bug it's obvious, is activating the camera while the LED is on. Camera FCs, turn the torch off and camera works perfectly.
Which version of NEAT are you running and what mods (if any) I'm on UHLPY V3.4 using Aroma mods V3.0. Since I'm having no issues I have no real reason to change.

I've been doing some testing XWLPY.
Findings so far:
* ROM is right up there with the usual standards we have all come to expect from the great Sale.
* ROM is smooth and slick.
* The version of Swype that came with it had problems for me, causing FC's all the time. I subsequently installed the latest Swype beta and works flawlessly. I find this a much better version anyway (beta 1.3.1.9274) than the bundled version (3.26)
* I much prefer the S3 music player to the standard, so I replaced it.
* Battery test obviously still pending.
Contacts screen+contacts popup and browser user interfaces have all been given a facelift (since 4.0.4) and look much nicer in my opinion. Notice the contacts photos are proportioned properly and not zoomed in and truncated as on 4.0.3

Both are much nicer on XWLPY in my opinion compared to LPI.
Installed a number of XWLPY aroma mods with no problems.
Note however, that the latest Siyah v5 test version (installable in Aroma mods) does not have a working camera (at least for me). All I get is the top/bottom app bars and focus graphic, but the viewfinder is completely black.
Its such a shame JKay will not have a framework for this version. I hope he does in fact do a JB framework as I really do miss his app, but I will stick with a JKay-less Neat XWLPY for the next few days just to see how things go with regards to smoothness/battery/reliability etc.
My wish list for this version for me would be:
1. A JB themed notification bar, as per previous Neat LPX
2. A centre clock on the status bar.
Well done again Sale old mate. You have issued yet another top TOP quality ROM and as the Aroma Mods program grows and grows with more options (hint hint at 2 requests above!!) then the best available Samsung ROM for our GS2 can only get better and better!
