Neat ROM

Both are much nicer on XWLPY in my opinion compared to LPI.

Installed a number of XWLPY aroma mods with no problems.

Note however, that the latest Siyah v5 test version (installable in Aroma mods) does not have a working camera (at least for me). All I get is the top/bottom app bars and focus graphic, but the viewfinder is completely black.

Its such a shame JKay will not have a framework for this version. I hope he does in fact do a JB framework as I really do miss his app, but I will stick with a JKay-less Neat XWLPY for the next few days just to see how things go with regards to smoothness/battery/reliability etc.

My wish list for this version for me would be:
1. A JB themed notification bar, as per previous Neat LPX
2. A centre clock on the status bar.

Well done again Sale old mate. You have issued yet another top TOP quality ROM and as the Aroma Mods program grows and grows with more options (hint hint at 2 requests above!! :D) then the best available Samsung ROM for our GS2 can only get better and better!

So far so good for the XWLPY w/ Aroma Mods. Good job Sale.
Tho I have one question.
Does the 1st Center Clock Mod you gave me still works for XWLPY or I have to send you another SystemUI.apk?
 
I've some time spare....so, er, no battery testing it's time to flash again, XWLPY here I come with Siyah 4.1.5, missing apps, Aroma 3.2 Mods, Note Gallery (it's simply stunning), and LPVE modem.

All downloaded now, just doing a CWM back up.

Anyone having problems with Aroma Mods LPY?

twice i've tried installing mods, go through Aroma options fine then just crashes at next screen right at end. First attempt I selected a few options, just now I selected one & was gonna try one at a time but same result?

You need to run it from the internal storage.
 
Interestingly, my phone got stuck on the Samsung 's' boot up screen continously.

Installed some aroma mods no problems and did fresh backup before flashing other bits. Appeared to backup fine but wouldn't reboot, cleared cache & dalvik & tried few times but no change??

Reverted to a previous nandroid backup now & try again :confused:

Also, cant get torch on lockscreen?
 
Impressive stuff from sale. Slick and smooth. Love the aroma package. Best thing to happen to a Rom since the Leo Mar kitchen days.

Also very happy that exchange sync now fully functional with this version.

Now I know I'm a fussy bugger, but is there a way to change the Wi-Fi icon in the status bar, I hate the little colored arrows.

Totally agree Syd! Now i'm up & running & fixed couple little install bugs I Think this is best I've had on my phone so far!

Have just been sat here thinking the same thing - of all icons we get Wi-Fi is one I most dislike!!

Was on uhlpy, but it want really working well for me, but I may have flashed the wrong aroma mod... Have done full wipe and installed xwlpy with those latest mods.. Is working really well with siyah 5.0, but still no working camera...if it becomes my daily over cm10(it might as it stands just now!) Then I can go back to 4.1.5!

I posted before about a calendar widget.... It is something silly, but really useful, something I use all the time. Is there a way to get this ported to neat ROM? Could I flash gapps for cm9?(I know the widget is available in cm10, and was available in Andy x ROM!)

If I can get this widget, I'm gonna be making it a daily! And become a(minor...as I have a baby on the way) donator :-)

Great work though sale :-)
 
Salesale, Aroma mods, I've been using V3.2 (for less than a day !) is it safe to flash V4.0 straight over the top from CWM recovery without any wipes ? I'm thinking yes, but I'd like confirmation.
