Ah I see what you mean. Disabling the ripple effect altogether gives you the closest to the ICS one but it's still not quite the same. Maybe try the AKOP lock screen from Sale's latest AROMA mods. That may give the desired effect but it will have a camera shortcut added, I think. May not be what you are after.
 
Also facing the screen issue still, after flashing. Cleared Cache/dalvik but no difference. Well ...doesn`t lock that often... :)
 
Only just flashed the lock screen fix, and all is instantaneous unlocking after perhaps 50 goes. However since I only had the problem perhaps once a day (and it was annoying rather than anything worse), I can't say whether it is fixed or not.

I look forward to a siyah kernel that works on JB and the "official" release of JB tweaked by salesale's magic. :)
 
I seem to be missing the Toggle LED flashlight anyone else? it says its in the Toggles but not on the dropdown menu
 
Lock screen fix seems to have worked for me.

Edit 2: Its defo improved though. Haven't had a lag all day, where I could normally expect 3 or 4.
 
Having some real issues last few days with this. Hoping someone can help before I revert to my ICS back up :(

Took phone off charge this morning &, whilst not doing anything, dropped from 100-85% in 40 minutes.
When connected the charger today the level went DOWN 5% in 5 mins or so, neither of these are the fuel chip thing as I waited & checked. The battery will nowhere near last a day of lightish use!

I have freezed/uninstall bloatware & altered settings so phone is pretty much identical to my previous set up.

When ever I check Battery in settings, 'Media' is always top at somehwere between 56 & 70%. I don't know what this relates to as I wasnt using music player, photo's, etc that I thought may be linked.

I am getting all sorts of freezing & crashing, this was flashed on a complete fresh, clean install & have even re wiped Everything & flashed again. I'm not too good with stats Better Battery Stats gives & googling has confused me even more, so any help would be great :D

Another thing just remembered, keep getting error messages "can't install on usb storage or sd card" and cannot update as insufficient memory, I have loads of memory left!

You seem to be stuck on media scanner.
If you have made any cwm backups in dup format, make sure you have a .nomedia file in the clockworkmod folder as dup format creates thousands of files within blobs folders which can drastically slow down the media scanner service.

It is good practice to create .nomedia files in any folder you don't want apps like gallery, music player etc. to scan inside. Remember this is recursive so all you need to do is create one in the top most level that you require, so no need to create in all subordinate sub folders.

If you have a .nomedia file in the clockworkmod folder then you need to clear out media cache. I've written a zip to do this which I could dig out for you tomorrow if you need it.

Stupid question.. ES explorer gives option to create file, is that all I need to do to create it? Can't see the file through explorer.

SCPad, does this mean that we are close to an official Jb releas and therefore close to a new neatrom? :)

Yes ES Explorer will do it.
Once you have a .nomedia file, you can just copy+paste it into all other required folders using windows explorer.
