Neat ROM

I'm coming from neat rom lite? I've reflashed 4 times so far and still the same thing... Ill try one more time..... P. S thank you for your quick reply I hope the job interviews went well yesterday mate

flash cf-root LPG via Odin and try again
 
Re downloaded the file and it worked straight away this time... Thanks for your help guys... Hawker are you going to run siyah over this?

I've just come from NeatROM to NeatLite & decided to try the JKay deluxe settings. I'e purchased the app, but get a message 'JKay deluxe framework not found'.

I've found the thread on xda to download the framework, but it looks like there isnt a version for NeatLite 1.2 XXLPX. Will any of the other (XXLPS, XXLPW etc) apk's work?

mate, v1.2 is LPG, not LPX

I've always been a fan of stock look+feel, and I prefer the stock S3 look (at the moment) hence my current theme. :)

Everything seems as excellent as ever. I've been on Neat for about a month now, and its never let me down, and I see no reason why this is going to be any different.

As always, I'm on latest Siyah (3.3.2) and combined with Neat gives the best setup possible for any ICS Sammy based ROM on the GS2 currently. Rock solid stock Sammy stability combined with this extremely knowledgeable and helpful dev make Neat the runaway leader in ROMs in my opinion. CheckROM had its day, but even if this eventually rears its head, I wont be coming off Neat in a hurry.

I've been through this ROM's tweaks, and this now zipaligns new apk's on each boot, and what's more, its done properly! Most ROMs previously did a half baked job (CheckROM included) whereby they installed the init.d script to process the apk's but with no zipalign binary. This has now been included, and done properly, so well done Sale.

Also included are a few build.prop tweaks that should help reducing battery drain, along with modded gps-related config files to get a faster GPS fix.

There are a few new init.d scripts that as well as zipaligning, also optimise .apk database (.db) files along with one that hopefully speeds up sd card access by using read-ahead buffering.

So far, everything 100% perfect. See how battery fares now over these next few days.

I've said this before many times in many different threads+forums and I will say it again. You will not this good a Sammy based ROM with the backing of such a knowledgeable and helpful dev anywhere else. If you are thinking of trying this ROM I cannot recommend it enough to you. This ROM is the CheckROM v6 of ICS.

S3 Tweaks for S2
 
I'm currently on the original Neat Rom Lite. One day one of my apps crashed so i got frustrated with it and I pressed the home button repeatedly. What happened next was very strange, my screen colour turned negative (if that makes sense)! Black turned white, green became pink etc... TRY IT, if you press the home button 4 times quickly it turns your s2 into an instagram filter!! Press it 4 times again and it goes back to normal... Not sure if it's a neat rom issue or maybe something to do with domination 4.5 theme. i'm interested to know if anyone else has this strange issue.

Thats a Siyah feature to put into negative mode. Purpose is for websites with white backgrounds to reduce battery drain
 
ok, i'm fedup waiting for checkrom, i'm on checkrom v6, how do i get this. just download the zip and flash it?
should i wipe my phone first?
anything else i should do? i'll backup using titanium 1st obviously.
 
I used Titanium backup, and then did a Nandroid Backup of my Stock LP7. Then I stuck NEAT on my SD card, along with the latest Siyah and Hawkers Full Wipe App, and ran all three zips in CWM. (not in that order obviously!)
 
Need a little help with this one, seem to have a issue with my dialer on light 1.2
Flashed on a clean istall everything works fine yet the dialer only lets you press one digit/number and locks up and causes contacts to close?
