Sale's drunk... he's seeing double with those last 2 posts.

I have to say, NEAT Full MS1, amended, is a cracking good ROM. Coupled with Siyah 6.0beta5 it is fast, slick and smooth in spite of my u/v'ing and u/c'ing it. So far, I cannot find fault with it.

Strange, I just got back and saw your posts guys but cannot, after a quick flip through 7 or 8 pages on the NEAT xda thread, see any reason for a pull on the Full version.

Does anyone know why?

Ok, no kod. Just me:-)

In my haste to flash, I stuck on the full version. I don't usually use full, and annoyed by all the detritus, merrily froze away in titanium.

Flashed lite this am. All silky smooth and working perfectly :-)

And it has a black sb.

Glad to hear that it's all up and running for you now though. Be interesting to hear your thoughts on it later. Are you using the new Philz 4.53 kernel, that comes with the Lite version, or the latest Siyah 6.0beta5?

Think the moral is not to blame the dev if you're having problems.....

Siyah beta 5. Seems great.

One thing I have noticed coming on here was that previously the page would automatically fit the screen, now it doesn't and I have to scroll sideways, and punch to zoom doesn't seem to work??

I see what he is saying but most of, if not all, the things he mentions do not really affect me or anyone using NEAT Lite. I would guess that Google's Android developers are always trying out different things and, like other developers, sometimes revert back or add stuff.

I can only go by the, "feel", of a ROM and how it performs for me and so in that respect I suppose I view the sum as being greater than the parts.

Strangely enough, LSD was the JB ROM that I spent the least time on, preferring instead, LSJ.

Will stick with MS1 and see how it fairs.

I must say my preference so far has been lsj, then lsd, then ls8. If this fella is saying ms1 is most similar to ls8 then looks like I may be reverting, but like rusty bum will give it a while before jumping to conclusions.

Only on first coffee Syd.... do you mean the web browser. If so, I can pinch in and out of pages OK. Have you got Auto fit ticked in Browser > Menu > Settings > Advanced > Auto-fit pages?
 
Haven't seen this here or on the xda thread, but i flashed MS1 over LSD without a full wipe and just got a boot loop, i flashed it twice and it happened both times. Thankfully my last back up was on the 8th, but just a warning to others out there. I was running Speedmod tho which might have caused an issue, anyone have any ideas?

No, fine on browser, it's a new problem in phandroid app. Hey ho. Can live with that!

Sale, is there already a working MultiWindow alongside with Torch on Lockscreen and Skip Songs?

Btw, Skip Songs only works on Stock Music Player on LS8. It was not like that at LSJ as I can use skip songs on doubleTwist Player and Google Play Music. :(

  • friendly log mode now is final: logs are no more wiped when switching view for all operations (install zip, boot scripts, backup/restore...)
  • fix: virtual keys will no more trigger an action at end of your scrolling if touched by case
  • fix: virtual keys could remain highlighted under some circumstances
  • fix screen capture index was back to 11 when it reached 100 (now it will be 999 photos and reverts to 001)
  • fix: toggle background icon prompted for a key since v4.53
  • fix: when toggle icon, screen logs are no more wiped
  • fix: when change menu size, screen logs no more wiped
  • deep revise of touch source to optimize and clean code (scrolling behavior is still same, this will be the next on my todo list)
  • misc code cleaning
