Vibration working fine on NEAT ROM LITE 4.6.1 for me.

Do you mean haptic feedback... the slight vibration when you touch the screen?

If so, check your Power Saving Settings as this is an option in them.

After convincing myself to stick to xxlsj and siyah, I couldn't resist giving it a go, and couldn't agree more. Very good so far

Not haptic, i dont use it. I mean vibration when ringing with or without sound. Checked all possible options and it should be working but its not. Hmmm i guess i ll flash rom once again and then mods and see did it helped.

Or maybe there is sth i`m missing and could check it before flahing?
 
For those not following xda, hawker is now a big wig in the developer world. Nice one hawker. Glad to see he's not forgotten his roots and still visits us mortals here on phandroid!

Btw any reports on hirox kernel? Does it have BLN!?
 
Hi this might seem like a dumb question, so sorry in advance. I installed The full revision of Neatrom a couple of days ago and everything is going great. What I am wondering is, what is different than the stock 4.1.2 I had before?

Nothing really, apart from the fact that it's deodexed (which basically means it opens your ROM up for easier modification), and comes with a rooted stock kernel with PhilZ recovery.
If you want Neat with more bells and whistles "off the shelf", then install Lite, which has several tweaks and mods as standard (eg a 4 way power reboot, ripple lockscreen etc.) but there is nothing on Lite that you cannot install on Full

When I go on Neat, I always install a Neat "Lite Full"
Ie. Install Neat Lite so I get the Lite tweaks and mods as standard, then install all the removed apps.
This way I get all the programs, but I freeze all the ones I don't want in Titanium Backup.
 
Lads is it possible that vibration could be completely dead? Haptic not working, with ringing same story... Last chance is romwipe and fresh rom install but before that I want to make sure could this really have happened - dead vibra?

Have you checked to make sure you dont have haptic turned on in your power saving options?
 
I was on vacation and I was glad that I copied the zip of XXMS1 to my internal storage. Sound was horrible on SuperNexus compared to XXMS1. Right after I got to my destination, I flashed XXMS1 right away.

Same Song, Same Equalizer Settings, Same Music Player, Same Volume, Different Roms
SuperNexus @ 8 Volume = Neat Rom XXMS1 @ 1 Volume

Ok thanks. Will give the Lite version a go. I was just concerned I would lose stuff.
 
Big thumbs uo for NEAT ROM LITE, LSN, 4.6.1 version, from me sale! :thumbup:

Best battery and performance I've had to-date. Used in conjunction with Siyah 6.0beta5... it's a winner for me.

Overnight Deep Sleep of 97.2% and my l2_hsic wakelock is way down to 0.3%.

btw maybe you could share your opinion about my dead vibra? Romwipe is really last resort for me and i want to know is there any way i could bring vibration back to life before starting from scratch... Is it possible it could just died, mechanicly ?

Good morning Twinn... only on 2nd coffee and with a steaming hangover and a mouth that tastes like I've been licking a badger's bum... and you want answers?

It is entirely possible that it could be a hardware fault... however, to decide that you have to eliminate all other possibilities since vibration is working for other posters on this ROM... I think we can eliminate that as the cause.

I notice that you have the Reloaded mod on your phone. I do not use that and I know from other posters that mods can sometimes cause problems. This would be my first port of call.

We are both on the same kernel.

If all else fails... then it's a fresh vanilla install and if it still doesn't work I'm afraid it's a repair job. :(

I just did it and... Worst news - vibration is dead :(
Well its not end of the world but just wonder why it happened:confused: Won`t be bothered with repairing it... waiting for S4 to show up in my network :D
