Neat ROM

Even after nukerom and wiperom? Or u didn't even tried?
 
Well, I finally reflashed neat v4.6.1, with Siyah, but the damn thing locked up almost immediately, so I gave it another flash, both times using nukerom. This time I opted for Hirax kernel, and all seem to be ok. I used Noled again, after finding an easy workround for the talkback bug, but after a few days I missed BLN so replaced it with Siyah again, and all was good, with excellent battery life.
Anyway.......not able to keep from fiddling, I installed Go launcher ex, and my battery life plummeted like a Led Zepplin (good name for a band, eh?)
So that quickly hit the bin, but my battery life was still naff, so another flash happened, along with replacing my 32gb micro sd card. All is well...ish...it seems that the sd card is consuming battery as well as slowing my phone down!! A quick google and it seems to be the case.
I'll give it some time to settle down and maybe whip the sd card out if it hasn't stated behaving itself again.
Anyone else come across this before?
Also, when Pressing the home button to access my lock screen, there is sometimes a message in the notification bar telling me that the sd card has unexpectedly been removed, or, sd card is damaged, but then everything carries on as normal........:confused:

The usual cause for the boot loop is restoring old Titanium Backup system app's and settings from a previous, non LITE LSN 4.6.1, backup version.

Need more coffee... lots more! ☕

I have never ever used ti backup nor have i made back ups. Always fresh clean installs. This just happened from a normal restart lol. I think your gonna need a keg of coffee lmao
 
Hello, got my eye on installing this puppy, can you un root to use banking apps for example? Only thing i use on my stock phone (well only thing that keeps me away from root!)

I don't get your problem mate... :confused: U can use banking apps wether you are rooted or not. Maybe I never heard of this but what root has to do with banking apps?
 
My banking app claims to not function or even install on a rooted phone!

Strange really... What country are you from then? I'm in Ireland, rooted my phone over year ago and I'm constantly using 3 different bank apps and never had any issue with any of them.
Root your phone, and don't worry about banking app. U can always unroot your phone back if (which I doubt) your banking app would not work on rooted phone.

Neat Rom is very, very stable and bug free. Can't even remember when it has failed me (other than me doing silly things like messing with the wrong mods)

Battery life is superb too.

I'd suggest you root and install this rom. I have it on my phone and am in no way tempted to install the official JB version when it's released by my operator/carrier.

Neat Rom is by far one of the best if not the best out there :) I use latest LSN 4.6.1 together with PhilZ kernel 4.93.6 and Reloaded mod 1.06 :)
Battery life is great, I don't have any issues, all works like a charm! Strongly recommend to give this rom a go. U shouldn't be disappointed, just follow all guides prepared by ironass and hawker and rooting + flashing will be easy and quick :)

May do this bank hol Monday! What is the difference between lite and full version? Can't quite tell between the two.

"S", is 5 letters on in the English alphabet from, "N". ;)

XWLSN and XWLSS are both the same region and countries.

It has a higher/later changelist we are told... however, since Samsung do not publish changelogs, what those changes are, exactly, are a mystery. Probably bug fixes, enhancements and tweaks. In any case, enough for Samsung to release it as the 5th JB update for Nordic Countries.
