So this was a step in the " ultimate ascend customization guide." and the step is below but when i open APNs, it shows Cricket..? Im in metropcs plan, what happened?

after first boot open your app drawer and find "voice dial"
speak "open apns" (if it doesnt work try different pronunciations till it does.)
select "open apns" and press ok
input the following apn setting by pressing the merto pcs apn and selecting the arrow next to each setting.

Proxy: proxy.metropcs.net
Port: 3128
Username: <Not set>
Password: <Not set>

Flash metroff 1.3.. Link is on the cm7 wiki. Metro will be on there afterwards.. Flash the same way as cm7 and gapps through cwm recovery..

okay i have done that now after i have edited it, it disappeared
You shouldnt have to edit it after flashing it, at least I didnt... I believe if you hit menu and restore defaults it should come back.. Otherwise reflash metroff, then just highlight it and make sure the button is green, reboot, should be in business..

the button is green, but when i hit back it dissapears, so just reflash it?

yes: MetrOFF-v1.3-MMS-GB-Edify-CM_ASOP-No_Roaming_indicator_Off_signed.zip after you flash it, you shouldnt have to mess with apn.

i have noticed that cm7 is very slow at downloading, can i fix this, ???

Thats not the rom its your 3g it has nothing to do with the rom.
