ok so im fully rooted and have su permissions. i have amon ra 2.3 rom. what do i do from here. is their any apps to save battery life like i been seeing on here. ex. people saying their battery lasts 30 hours on 1 charge. do u think i should lock it back with s-on in case if i need to take it in for repairs? if so will i still have root ans su?
First of all, I would get yourself on a custom ROM. MikG3.11 is very nice. It has an upgraded version of the sense interface and other mods like a hacked sprint hotspot.
Custom kernels play more of a role than apps as far as battery life goes. Once you get set up with a custom ROM we will worry about custom kernels.
As far as getting S-ON... no, don't do that yet. S-ON isn't enough to fool sprint into not knowing your rooted (Ex-Your H-boot version has changed, you have a custom recovery, ect). It wouldn't hurt to download the S-ON file and the RUU for later use, but don't use them.
