Root need help with wifes evo

haha i need some help.
def a newbie.
I have rooted my evo using Revolution, all is well.
This is my wifes phone and she wants it back ha.
It is 2.3.3 GB.
I have a few questions:

1. Which busy box do I need? Root check says i do not have one installed.
2. She wants a pink theme (rom), how do i go about doing this?
3. I also want to undervolt it, but SetCPU won't let me, i guess because i need a kernel, so which kernel do i need?

my main goes with her phone are to extend battery, pink theme (prefer the newest sense), and to use for WirelessTethering. I just want it to operate flawlessly so she won't have any problems.

As far as a kernel goes you need a custom kernel to undervolt. Please note that this is different from underclocking. Underclocking slows the processor's max speed. Undervolting lowers the overall amount of power it receives. I would suggest trying out more freedom universal.

FOr busybox, you can just download and install that from the market. Any version of it will work.

If I were you I would download MikG and flash that Rom. Then do a search on this forum for a pink theme by Extremedays.
I'm pretty sure the pink theme is for MikG.
Then try out the freedom kernels. You'll have to experiment to see which one will work for that phone.
Use the roms and kernels sticky at the top of the forum to download the Rom and kernel, then search for the pink theme by Extremedays.

yep just flash mikg2.58 and then flash the pink theme linked above.

Try any Sense 3.0 Rom with Freedom kernel, you can find pink themes in HTC Hub, and Freedom kernel helps too, as well as your undervolting situation. Try 1.18.2 BusyBox, I believe that's the version you should get.. Purely off memory so sorry if I make a mistake but that's the one that works with SuperCharger V6.

ok, i installed 2.58 and i put the pink theme on the SD card, now how do i use the pink theme?
Although, I was really going for an all out 3.0, not just a 3.0 lockscreen, so I am still looking for a new rom.

for themes all you need to do is wipe dalvik cache and cache and flash the theme just like you would when you flash a kernel.

2. (in recovery) install from SD card
3. choose file to install
4. yes install.

need to wipe cache and dalvik cache, both, a couple of times I understand. those are what Ocn said. I added the 'couple of times' myself.

I haven't flashed any themes myself. Can't hurt anything just wiping those anyway.

correct just wipe dalvik cache and cache. they are two different things. just do not wipe data. and flash the theme. do not forget to make a nandroid backup first before wiping or flashing.
