Root NEED SERIOUS HELP!!!!!.........please.

Okay try restoring it back to stock, reroot it with z4root, install clockworkmod, and then install CM7.
 
If you go to the ascend all things root their is a guide on how to restore it back to stock(2.1) from there you can just root, install cwr, and flash cm7(with gapps, ofcourse)

Thank you for your overall contributions to the forum. I was searching around and I seem to have the EXACT issue as the Thread Author, on my Samsung Gravity Smart phone (rooted, uninstalled factory apps, including "samsung launcher", tried to flash a custom rom after partitioning sd card with unsuccessful result) and now even tho Google Play recognizes online that I have Launcher Pro installed, the phone still goes straight to a all-black blank screen with only the status bar visible, not letting me set it to USB debugging mode, or anything. SAME EXACT PROBLEM as the gentleman who created the post.

I see he has received support from you guys (links, etc.) and as wondering if you could be so kind as to provide me with your support. Sorry to budge in like this, without establshing much rapport, but like the gentleman, I am in SERIOUS NEED OF HELP!

Please Help! I am stuck in this limbo (my phone specifically). Thanks in advance!

Nevermind guys! I reflashed a different ROM and voila! Problem Solved!!!

I am in SERIOUS need of help! Same case as NuEra923, with the blanck screen no matter ho many times I reboot or what I do, only the status bar at the top (can't access any apps, settings, nothing at all on my phone, it's not even recognized anymore by the Samsung Kies softare).

What step should I take now?

Please help.....!

Nevermind guys! I reflashed a different ROM and voila! Problem Solved!!!

I also had found out my wife went to ATT for apn setting issues and the guy there hard reset her phone and it got the same issue with the atrix 2. i also rooted because i was waiting on an ics build for it.:confused: she should have consented with me before the guy started messing with the phone. Seriously who would hard reset a phone for apn settings all you have to do is go to settings, wireless settings, apn and hit the menu button to create new apn, why do they work there? Anyways please help!!!!

Here's how it came about:
I rooted my phone. Flashed CWM 5. Flashed Cyanogenmod 7. After reboot and past logo screen, I got to the main screen, where the Setup Wizard message kept popping up, with black screen in the background.

I have a Galaxy S5830M. Advice will be appreciated. Please help!

Note: I can still connect the phone to Kies and access my SD card.

Its because the factory apps are deleted. Try using Android commander. Open commander and boot the phone up after you plug it in. Usually regardless of what mode you are in, commander will see the phone. From commander you can install stock apps or access your sd card.

Only thing i can think to do.

If you can install a launcher you will beer good to go.

Please help me I think I bricked my LG thrive I rooted it installed uninstaller to get rid of at&t apps on I think I may uninstalled something that I needed cuz now when it boots up I'm having the same issue as the original post I have no idea what to do android commander doesn't recognize it I cant access sdcard from phone I have no home menu I can't even send a txt msg with a link to the marker to dl anything cuz my SIM is not recognized think due to the phone being unlocked and doing a hard reset on it. Please help if possible

Just reroot... reinstall recovery and make sure a ROM is available on your sd card to flash and you should be golden. Check the all things root sticky above-the links are all in there:)

Hi, I am also getting the same problem "The application Setup Wizard (process com.android.setupwizard) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again" on my samsung galaxy y s5360.

Kindly share the process to recover from this serious issue.
I am unable to access anything on my cell.
wiped and rebooted several times.

Please help.

I am also facing the same problem.
If you got the resolution then please help me out.
I got samsung galaxy Y s5360 rooted.
