Root netflix problem

[SMALBA]

So I found another problem that might or might not be just me. I can't stream Netflix on this rom. I can open the app regularly but nothing plays. Also I tried uninstalling Netflix and finding it in the app market but it is nowhere to be found??

its not a problem with the rooted rom.. it is also a known issue with the update..

as well as notification blinking, is no longer there.. kinda sux.. but.. oh well..

[Mr. Ed]

as mentioned netflix has not made their app compatible with 2.3

there may be a work around on xda but I don't subscribe to netflix so that is the best I can give ya, look on xda or wait for netflix to fix the app ..or you could switch back to a 2.2 rom but what fun is that?

it must be a gingbread sense thing, cause on cm7 gb i have no problem streaming on netflix.

Right on. Cm 7 with 2.3.3 works great for me.

So, I wonder if I flash Kings Rom "Ultimate Beatdown" GB/R4 if Netflix will work? I think you stated in another post that it was a CM7 based ROM?

yep sure is. kings gb rom is cm7 based. i believe that it should work. i'm not on that rom any more but i have no doubt that netflix will run on kings gb rom.
