New Android Market. Love it or hate it??

Yeah I removed the market updater and vending apk but somhow the new market kept coming back. Found that strange :confused: Even tried to place the black market in the rom before flashing it but it didnt show up!
 
It was more than leaked. Mine force-updated to it. Just got "lucky" I guess. Believe me, it sucks.

Mine now has updated back to the "curved" one. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh...back home again! Only a mtter of time before i see that boxy crap again though. But maybe they will have the kinks worked out by then. One can only hope!
 
I have gotten used to the new look of the market, but it is annoying having the apps say there is an update available but when I open the app the only options are open and uninstall.

After a while, the update option shows.

All of my apps are there by the way.
 
Is this getting rolled out at different times or something because I haven't had a Market update? I get all the usual notifications about app updates, but nothing about the Market?
 
You can get the APK by Googling it - I don't know if it's being pushed out officially yet. I quite like it but it's laggy as hell

I've tried that, twice now and still no-go. My Market was automatically updated to the new one(the all black/gray one) so mine wasn't the leaked one. I didn't even know there was a new Market, let alone a leaked one, until mine was automatically updated.

As of my last post, it once again updated to the newer one and just like before, it's not showing all my apps(still showing the same 5 from last time). Even clearing data and cache does nothing. I'll be uninstalling the new Market once more to get the green curvy one again.
 
I have mixed feelings about the new market. It was nice how the apps are more organized with better category and options but it felt REALLY crowded. I can live with the new market. What I could not was how it messed up the dates in the Review comments where I would have a review from Jan 2010 and the next is Mar 2011 and the one after is Dec 2010. The review, which is what I mainly use to see if an app is needed to update was useless to me. I had to revert back to the previous version for my sanity.

I have moved the thread to the Android Application as it deals with an app that's applicable to all Android phones.
 
What version is the new one? I'm on 2.3.3 on gingervillain 2.7. Should this still update automatically or do I need to download the apk and do it manually?
 
I have an issue where an app shows that it needs to be updated, then when you press on the app there is only uninstall and open.
 
If it would let you actually update the apps that are shown to have an update it would be ok, for now it's horrible. If I have an update for a single app when I press on the app it only shows Open or Uninstall.
 
I wont update untill all problems, like some installed apps not showing up, updating not possible and so on, have been sorted. Anyway the old version works very well for me so i will stick with it.
 
Is there a way to block this new Market? I had with PE 6.5 I think, and it was slow, stanky with poorly defined spacing. Me no like...
