Help New EVO user...active or static wallpapers?

Just got my EVO a couple of days ago and I'm loving it so far. Was a long time Blackberry user.

So how many of you are using active desktop backgrounds? I turned it off initially cause I was freaked about battery life....but it seems like kind of a waste to have this huge nice screen and not show it off with some movement.

so what do the majority of you EVO vets use....static wallpapers or active?

i have a static wallpaper, but i liked to show it off to some friends so i switch it to a live wallpaper. i use my different scenes to switch wallpapers depending on my mood and what i'm doing or who i'm showing my evo off to.

Calling it active desktop makes me think of Windows 98 . In any case, I tend to not use live wallpapers much. They're cool at first, but then I just find them distracting whenever I want to do something practical.
