As it's an unofficial leaked firmware nothing is certain, but XX indicates that it's a generic European firmware with UK support. Several members here have reported that it works.

No, I believe that it's 'official' in that sense and doesn't increment the counter. I'm sure someone here confirmed that fact.

I have jus managed to install ICS on my S2 aswell not sure about battery life as im still using it. After many weeks of getting 'e failed to verify whole-file signature'. I had found a kernal that would install Codeworx's CWM.
