New to Android

hey! Just got my first android phone, the eris!

I'm really excited, if anyone could help me out with some tips please do! are there ways i can watch my data usage, since i have a limited amount?

There's a My Verizon app in the market, and it will tell you how much data you've used. Congrats on the Eris!

The verizon app that was mentioned will help you keep track of usage. Use wifi whenever possible. It doesn't count toward your allowance. Read through these forums for lots of good tips. Enjoy the eris.

My advice would be to read up on what root is and root your Eris. I had an Eris until yesterday when I got the DInc. A rooted Eris with an over clocked CPU is a pretty damn good phone.

Really liked my Eris from the get go. But LOVE it now that's it's rooted! I agree!
