Installation Instructions

Install instructions:

This is a new style of install for me and the Droid community in general. The update.zip format will only remove those files necessary to install itself, if your phone is odexed, it will deodex it for you and install. It has a very small footprint because it is only installing what is necessary.

1) DO NOT WIPE YOU PHONE, DO NOT FORMAT THE SYSTEM.

2) in your app drawer have bootstrap recovery restart your phone in recovery.

3) Follow these steps exactly:
i. go to mount and storage
ii. select mount system (it should say unmount /system if done correctly)
iii. press the power button
iv. select install zip from sdcard
v. select choose zip from sdcard
vi. navigate to Tranquility.zip and press the camera button
vii. restart phone

Really... Did you not read any of the post. What it appears to look like and what it does are two different things. It looks like ADW because that is was is loaded for a launcher. Its been heavily modified and deblurred and runs great.

Hey, everyone. Check your system version. I had the latest leak running this morning, and when I put Tranqulity on, it changed my system version back to 2.3.9.

Did this happen to anyone else?
 
No Backup Assistant

Not really a deal breaker for me except for I had to sbf earlier from an error now my contacts are gone. Tried to put back with titanium but didnt work. This happen to anyone else? if so any ideas?
 
This release breaks calendar event editing and adding of new events. To fix this, pull bluremailengine.apk from the deodexed system dump I posted, put it back in /system/app, and change permissions to 644.

Why would u need to change a theme for this? There is no reason to...all it does is run script to remove apks from system and replace with stock vanilla apks ....
All 2.2 themes will work fine on it.

If you would just sync your contacts with ur gmail acct, you wouldnt have to use the backup assistant.
 
So what's the verdict on this one? Is there any improvements over FlyX or are people just installing it because it's new? Not that there's anything wrong with that. :D
 
i just installed it, but i lost root /cry i still have the su in the app drawer but im at work and can't root it threw adb /cry
