Root Newb Question, Where do you get Root Apps?

I feel like a total newb asking this, but I'm just not seeing the answer anywhere.

I'm coming to android after being an jailbroken Ipod Touch user for 2 years. When you jailbreak an iphone it adds an app to allow you to search for jailbroken apps. But where do you get the root apps from? all I'm able to find is lists of apps to get after you root but not where you get them from.

Thanks

There are some root only apps in the market. Being that you're rooted, you can also search for apk's on the internet and install them through a file manager like astro or root explorer

Alright, So it's not like the Ipod Touch Where you get the Cydia app for Jailbroken apps they are just in the appstore mixed in or search for the apk's online

Thanks for the Help Joe, Although I heard on a youtube vid that there was a backup thing better than Titanium Backup, I wanna say it was app brain but I don't remember however, I don't know how old that video was and if titanium Backup is different now, either way I thanked you :p

Titanium is the one and only backup app for apps/data that is needed and necessary.

Exactly, they're available on the Market to anyone, totally unlike the iOS situation.

Incidentally this means you shouldn't necessarily be scared off by low-ish ratings for root-only apps, because if you check the comments a lot of them will be from people who missed the big "ROOTED PHONES ONLY" warning and posted to complain about how they can't get it working :p
