Hello, I am new to android and linux. I have a iphone and looking to get an android unlocked phone to tether with my daughters new flytouch 3 when traveling. I have learned a lot about the flytouch 3 512Ram, 8GB HD, 1Ghz for 155 + 20 shipping from myefox took 13 days to arrive.
How is the hard drive utilized in android 2.2 since the internal HD show 938Mbytes and 6.05GB in icon MyPad?
How is memory used since size shows 372Mbytes instead of 512Mbytes?
I figured out how to correct the android market problem from on post on this site
THANKS. But still unable to download apps that are not free?

You might to touch base with the folks in the Flytouch forum, Gome Flytouch Tablets - Android Forums, for a better, detailed response about the memory breakdown for your tablet.
To download paid apps from the Market, you'll have to have a setup a Google Checkout account (i.e., linking a credit card to your Gmail account). Its been a while since I've done this and I truly can't remember the details (perhaps another member will come by and fill-in the details).
