Attention is now directed all the 5 Nexus and Android 4.4 KitKat, which should be revealed in a few days. The wait for both is really high, also because of Google and Nestl
jhawkkw, nice find. Tomorrow will tell if it goes down to 3. Also it might stay the same over the weekend.
Another stretch as far as a rumored date, but check out another that I found:
3 days ago Kitkat posted something about Roger Moore's birthday and a 007 image but only the 7 was made of KitKats. 2 days ago they posted "Everybody Dance Now" but the image was of the Android KitKat dancing made up of 6 KitKat bars.
Yesterday they posted an image saying "THIS IS IT" made up entirely of KitKats. The caption is 'Sometimes you have to look for the signs

Is it funny or sad that I got goosebumps reading that?
That's the way every previous Nexus launch has gone. So if it doesn't happen that way, it would break the trend.Hilarious aha. I'd love to be a Google or Kit Kat employee w/ knowledge of the date and just sit back and watch people like us go crazy over this stuff.
Also, are we positive that once Kit Kat is announced the Nexus 5 will be announced as well?

Here is just a general question for anyone with experience doing this: If I am switching to a new carrier, ATT for example, and plan on purchasing the Nexus 5 unlocked via the Play Store, would it be a good idea to use my initial 2 year contract price to get a G2 now for the $199 price and flip it for $400 once the Nexus 5 releases?
Personally, I hate being tied to a contract. Plus if something comes along after you purchase the Nexus 5 that you really like, you could then upgrade to that since it would still be available.
Good point, thanks. Will they let me go month to month right off the bat though?
They should, of course the other option is to check out their prepaid options like GoPhone or AIO Wireless, or one of their MVNO's. It will likely be cheaper while still using their coverage.
