What if this is a decoy? Something is fishy here. Seems like this is a trend here lately. They have kept this under wraps using the whole Key lime pie name. They're slipping up too easy now. Seems like this has been the plan all along. What do you guys/gals think?
It would be nice to have a great camera, but it's going to take some major improvement to the stock camera app as well. However, I keep hearing about all these potential high end parts and am beginning to wonder if that predicted $350 still seems possible.
Different companies.
Google kept kitkat unknown since last December. Theyre "oops" was the video showing it. That may have been intentional to start all of the hype.
The FCC filings and photos are from LG. You can't fake an FCC filing, and I'd imagine purposely putting false pictures in one would likely land someone in hot water. The photos are not for the phone that it was filed with. Someone screwed up.
In the end, a very small group of people knew about the kit Kat name. That's easy to keep under wraps. Now were talking about multiple companies producing a product. If you look at all of the phone leaks from most major companies before a flagship announcement this isnt all too strange.
It comes down to more people having the information, and they're more likely to share it or leak it (intentional or not)
I'm still hoping they'll keep it at the same price point. But if its like $50 more, I wouldn't mind.
Saw the lg g2 today, very very nice. If that's the basic chassis for the N5 we will have a great looking phone.
Another rumor, this about an oct 14 release.
Nexus 5, Android KitKat debut on Oct. 14 sounds sweet but require grains of salt | News | TechRadar
Nice. I really like the big nexus logo in that orientation
From what I can, and what do I know really, is that the back doesn't look nearly as glossy as the Nexus 4. That would lead me to believe it's not a glass rear panel, it looks more like rubber or plastic. Though I could be way off.
Yeah it does. Id prefer that tbh
This would be in line with previous Nexus device/OS announcements. A grain of salt indeed, but at least consistency gives it some believability.
I ended up going with the G2. If they are similar, you guys are going to be very happy. If i could add an unlockable bootloader to this thing, itd be the ideal phone. And thats exactly what the N5 will be.
Is it the Verizon one with the "root status" in settings>about phone?
You already got that beast?
