They usually upload the factory images for the new updates the same day.

So you can upgrade it manually immediately after that gets posted or wait for it to be pushed OTA
 
Kind of hoping for a Verizon LTE release on this...has it been confirmed that it will or will not be coming with an LTE variant?

THe nexus 5 will not be coming to verizon.

If you're talking about an LTE nexus 4 variant, its been nothing but rumors so far. I dont see it happening.

I'm just itching to upgrade from my GS3, not sure why though. I'll probably wait til next year and see what happens. I'm seriously just waiting until Verizon pulls the plug on all unlimited data. If that happens, I'm out. Probably off to T-Mobile. The seemingly google of the mobile world.
