Nexus 7 Watering Hole

My industry not my company. Had I seen that site I would still be screaming at them. But we have to check them all now.
 
Just got the Xbox wireless controller working on my tabs and thinking of getting a bigger gear bag for my stuff.

$25 credit!? I doubt that is available to me in Australia for an ebay purchase...

What to do? I'm not really a games sort of person, but will at least get an e-reader of some sort, and off-line GPS navigation - which, I guess, means I'll need to get a suitable car mounting kit as well.

And with USB host capability I'd like to explore external midi interfaces, particularly with a view to potential midi sequencing of external midi devices (not on-board sequencing). Are there any particular forums or threads here that might apply?

If the latter, me too :-) Currently rockin' an AXL road worn P-Bass with the hottest pups I've ever heard.. Traded a Squire worth twice as much for it and couldn't be happier. Currently working out the bass lines to Money by Pink Floyd, Malignant Narcissism by Rush (feels a lot like the bass line to LA Villa Strangiato), and the hard parts of YYZ

Oh yeah, enjoy your n7! If you're a bass player, Guitar Pro is just under $7 and indespensible

everyone is giving me crap about it so i rant

ive talked about it praveately with alot of people and they are telling me ive made a dumb decition so here is my reasons why i will have no issues with it

people have been on my rear end about reviews

the OV has 175 megabytes of internal after android the WFS has 150 big whoop and battery? myb phone needs to be charged everynight people are whining because they have to... im notot complaining

screen is the same size body is smaller ask anyone im in close contact with I LOVE SENSE it takes up alot of ROm but i dont use alot of ROM

thats my OV with 15 apps installed (some just installed just for the sake of installing) never had a low memory notif on it EVER no apps are on SD i wont have many other apps on the Wildfire S so I WILL BE FINE

i dont get service at my school soloution? airplane mode and battery is fine if not ill get a extended battery....

Thanks Jay - yes, I'm a bass player. I have myself an Ashton 5-str onto which I've installed a GK-3B hex(aphonic) pickup. This connects to an Axon AX-100 (midi converter), & its midi-out drives a Roland XV-2020 half-rack synth. There's a few other gadgets in my rig, but that's the essence of it all - finally amplified by an Eden Nemesis ENX-260 into my 30yo home-made 1x15 cabinet. I'm actually thinking of (& planning towards) building a new cab - a fEARful designed 12/6 cube (check out fEARful&#8482; enclosures for bass/drums/keys), which is a nice width for my rack case to sit atop.

My only musical (performance) outlet for years has been in the worship band at my local church, where I also get to play with my grown kids (who both play keys & sing) - it's a lot of fun to do that as a family together :-) The reason for the midi setup was a long held desire to play cello, & the XV-2020 has some nice orchestral patches for that purpose.

PS. I forgot: Delivery card was awaiting from the P.O. when I arrived home today! So it's off to Australia Post sometime tomorrow to collext the N7 :-)
