I manually updated. I am sure that there's several changes under the hood but the only thing I can notice is that it checks for updates to installed apps much faster. My guess is that this update is more of a preparation for Gingerbread. Can't wait for it.

Anyone notice since FRG83D that we can no longer manually check for updates? I'm pretty sure on the System Updates page there was a menu action to "Check for Updates" but it is no longer there since FRG83D.

There is on my 2.2.1 Nexus 1 (FRG83)-- it's on the "About Phone" menu.

That doesn't check for updates and never has. It tells you if you've got one waiting to install (after being downloaded OTA).

Is it me...or is the update going to TMo version first? lol. People should really put what version they have when they post they have the update XD Well so far the people that are still waiting have the AT&T model.

Just got the OTA (parts 1 & 2) within 10 minutes of each other. I'm on Tmobile running stock

I'm not 100% sure but I'd say Google rolls out the OTA updates, not all at once, but at different phases, taking into account the IMEI. If this was the case, it would make sense T-Mo phones getting updates earlier than AT&T ones

Huh.....woke up, read my emails, read some news, read some of the new posts on this thread and thought to myself, "I guess my ATT version will be last to get this update, ah well".

Rolled off the futon, picked up my N1 and disconnected the charger and what do I see?

Haven't really had a chance to check it out yet but its funny how the battery level was 100% but as soon as it rebooted, it had 87% after the first part reboot and 84% after the second reboot.
