Root No lockscreen after nandroid restore

I restored a nandroid of MikG 2.58 tonight. I was using widget locker as my lock screen when I was using the rom. When the nandroid was done restoring I could see my background and the notification bar, but there was no lockscreen. Not the original or widget locker. How do I get access to the phone?

geez, that's a good one, I don't know!

Is it invisible or something? try swiping anyway?

wipe cache and dalvik cache???

1) it may not have restored properly, simply try restoring again

2) Try wiping dalvik cache & cache

If that still doesnt fix it.....

3) it was a bad nandroid backup. This CAN happen. Hopefully you have another one to restore from.

do you have your card partitioned? not sure why but i nandroid restored back to the fearmede rom from xplod rl1 and on fearmede my lockscreen disappeared as well. i went back to recovery and wiped everything except for sd card then tried the nandroid backup again and it worked.

I've had this happen everytime i've tried to nandroid restore since i partitioned my SD card and started using A2SD. I thought it was 'cause i didn't backup the SD Ext (or something with the dalvik cache being moved), so on the Xplode ROM i made sure to backup that part and see if it made a difference. Sucked too, 'cause i had to resetup MikG from scratch like 3 times. Well, it only sucked for like 10 minutes thanks to TB, but still ;)

dustwun77-Its not invisible, I had tried that already. Tried where I expected the widgetlocker tabs to be as well as the sense 3.0 lockring in case it had defaulted back to that. Will try the cache wipes.

Rxpert83-I tried restoring twice, same thing happened both times.

ocnbrze-I do have my card partitioned. I was also nadroiding from xplod rls1. That shouldn't have anything to do with it though, right?

takirb-I'm not sure if I backed up SD-ext or not. I just did whatever amon ra has checked by default.

It was a relatively fresh install of MikG, just a few apps and a theme, so not a huge deal if I have to set it up all over again. I was just hoping to find an easier way. I will try the cache wipes here soon and report back.

Thanks

make sure to wipe sd ext as well, since you are partitioned as well.

Oh yeah? What is on the sd ext exactly?

Looks like MikG is up to 2.59 now, so I will take this as a sign, lol

you sd ext is where your apps are stored. sometimes bits of the system can get stored on there as well. that is why sometimes you get issue when flashing roms without wiping sd ext.
