I was on Straight Talk using a Tmobile sim, and Google Voice wouldn't work right because it the service didn't support conditional forwarding. I could use the Android app to send texts back and forth, calls wouldn't get through and calls wouldn't get forwarded to GV voicemail.

So, does it work on the Tmo plan?

I'm pretty sure you don't get conditional call forwarding with any of the prepaid plans directly from T-Mobile - you have to be on the "uncarrier" side.

As an FYI conditional call forwarding is supported by Solavei (T-Mobile MVNO). I use GV voicemail for both my GV number and my sim number.
 
Yeah, they're trying their absolute best to hide prepaid and pay as you go. I can only find it by google searching into it.

I found the prepaid site by the normal t mobile.com site but I cant figure out how I did it. hahaha

Ahhhhh. I went to "activate a tmobile phone" and it takes you to the pre paid site from which you can choose the $30 plan.

Man that sucker is stuck deeeeeep in the woods.

Man I love Google. A friend that has all the answers and NEVER talks back. Unless you want it too. Bwahaha
