Root not reciving texts

since late last night i am not reciving texts unless i use the market app LTE onn/off to chang signal type to CDMA only then i get them... do i need to jump back to my stock backup and use the activate app?

Since you are able to receive texts by manipulating your connection, it doesn't seem like it is an account problem.

The OV is a CDMA phone... Texting won't work if you are trying to use any other type.

Its a Evdo_A + CDMA. What cammy was talking about doing was switching to just CDMA only. You can also switch to Evdo_A only or go back to both.

Evdo_A is 1x mode
CDMA is 2G-3G

It depends on what's strongest where your at, at that time.

the showing options are the ones that work all others are GSM related

by default our phones are set to CDMA auto (PRL)

Your running ics it likely has an effect on it.

i actuilly went back to my 2.2.2 backup ran activate flashed up to ics working fine again
