Accessories Not thrilled with Innocase

Can you guys update on whether your replacements are snug? I don't know how they could fix this other than to change the mold or change the manufacturing to shrink the plastic more...I'm just not sure what their fix is so I am wondering if those of you getting replacements have seen an improvement. I don't like my phone sliding around inside the case and the felt solution doesn't work so well...

The second one they sent me had the same fit. I think they need to change the mold. So multiple replcements won't do the trick.

Not to be expected. This is the first one I've owned that fits so loose. Mine's definitely going back in favor of this one. It's less coverage but with the excellent fit and look, I'll take it. Now I just need to find a holster for it because the innocase holster is too baggy of a fit. It is that much thinner.
Same here, its to be expected since it snaps with two pieces. Unless its excessive, then it might have something wrong with it.

I'm surprised no one is annoyed that a $30 case needs a homemade fix to fit properly. A cheap ebay knockoff maybe, but not a premium priced one from Seidio.
I'm surprised ya'll haven't seen the other thread where another Innocase owner added two felt strips at the top and two at the bottom on the inside of the case to make the fit more snug. He got the material from Hobby Lobby.

Hello All,

I received my replacement for the defective Innocase I received.

The one I received today took about a week to get and it is a much better fit than the defective one. It does not wiggle or creak on the top part like the other one.

Happy that they did the right thing but it was still a hassle nonetheless.

Mine was pretty tight at first but has loosened up a lot in the last week. Especially right by the volume controls where the upper and lower pieces meet. Also been noticing the rubberized coating on the back is starting to develop small cracks. Be nice to return it, but my new puppy chewed the top clip of the holster. Going to get the rugged case since I work for Lowe's and I'm on concrete floors all day. It'd probably be a good case for the gym, when I'm training Jiu-Jitsu, or the shooting range.

Regards,

I got my replacement case the other day and had same looseness problem. Sounds like the even newer batch is fixed.. but I really don't want to go through the hassle of getting another one (that'd be THREE). Instead I added felt like suggested in fix thread. It's fine now.

My question for anyone who received the replacement.. did you have to send back your original defective one after receiving? I've received mixed messages from Seidio's customer service and I'd hate to be charged for the second case (esp. since it's STILL defective)

Thanks!!!!

I have that for my iPod Touch(provides more coverage than the Evo's), I was thinking about ordering that myself, but sort of like the additional protection.

i just received my innocase II replacement and it's amazing - all that i hoped a case could be. old case = creaky. new case = no creaks!

i hope this remains the case after i use it for awhile.

oddly enough, both customer service reps were surprised i exchanged the innocase and seemed clueless about the issues everyone is experiencing.

also - although i was told i was being sent a shipping label to send back the old one, there was no shipping label in the box. when i called, the rep told me she didn't know why there wasn't a label included but i should call back this afternoon. wtf?

i'm like - i'm not paying to send back a bad case that was exchanged on warranty.

My replacement is at least as bad as the original if not more. Needless to say, I'm disappointed.

I'm considering the LE case from Amazon. Does anybody know if the Evo will snap into the Seidio Innocase clip with that case???

i have the same situation.. did they ultimately say you don't need to send back defectivre?

i can't get a clear answer

mine is also slightly defective, but I could not be more pleased with their customer service...I will definitely not be looking for a refund.

Mine is pretty good. I like the one I got at the Sprint store, but the seidio is slimmer and I might just keep the seidio because of that.

I purchased this one as well and I really like it. Much better than the Sprint Body Glove case. IMO

My 3rd case (2nd replacement) was overnighted and I got it this morning. I was told it wouldn't even ship until today, so it's crazy that I got it already. The new replacements, at least as of the 18th are FIXED. Not loose and fits snug just like my prior innocases. Anyone with issues should get a replacement and you will be much happier. Once again, the problem has been solved. Thanks Seidio

I'm having a hard time finding my BB receipt for my rebadged case -- do you send back the defective case when you receive the new one? If not, has anyone had any luck getting BB to print a proof of purchase in a case like this (purchased with my BB card)?

I thought I could just get used to the creaking and play, but it just gets on my nerves more and more.

I RMA'd my initial Innocase that I ordered before the launch. The new Innocase I received is totally "rubberized" on the outside AND inside. The old one was only rubberized on the outside.

If you receive a Sprint EVO Innocase with shiny plastic on the inside of the case I suggest you return it immediately.

Great support and turnaround time by Seido btw. This is the type of quality product I have come to expect from Seidio.
