Note 3 cases?

But i must say that the magnet is too weak, it barely holding the flap in place

so i searched this thread and didn't see any info on the cruzerlite androidify case.
ive had this case on my htc eve 4g lte and my current galaxy note 2.
I've been happy with it and it has protected me from a few waist high drops so far so I'm considering getting the same for my new coming note 3.
i was considering the spigen ultra fit case but people say it doesn't protect the top or bottom of phone.
any input on either that hasn't yet been listed or i have overlooked?

Sadly, I can verify that the Neo Hybrid does indeed protect the phone from a four foot fall onto concrete. I can also sadly verify that the plastic frame is indeed white underneath the color. The damage isn't exactly "in your face" obvious. It's more of a "it's my case on my phone and I know where I dropped it and know where the damage is and therefore it stands out to me". So protection-wise, it will definitely do the job.

• Spigen Neo Hybrid - for beauty and slimmest body, but least protection.
• Spigen Slim Armor - slightly bulky than Neo Hybrid but solid build and better protection.
• Otter Box Commuter - The best protection without over bulkiness.
• Samsung S View Cover - Nice flip cover with awesome S View function.

This UAG look awesome, still wonder wanna get it or not, the missing hole a bit annoy me, but it really nice looking!

Has anyone tried the Otterbox Commuter for the GN 3? What's your verdict? I purchased the Defender and it is simply too big and bulky. My already hefty device was suddenly GIGANTIC. Used it one full day before i simply removed it and gave it away. I am now using a case purchased on Amazon for $8.49. The name is Caseology and I purchased the Black PU Leather model. The case is slim, sexy looking, and SHOCKINGLY well made. It DOES NOT offer the protection of the Otterbox Defender, but it will do for mow, and possibly forever, if the Commuter series is even remotely as hefty as the Defender. The Defender is simply put, a PIG of a case. Hopefully the Commuter is simply put, a PIGLET.

I can't find the actual physical dimensions of the Spigen Neo Hybrid and the Slim Armor on Spigen's website.

Can someone with both measure them for me and tell me which one is bigger and by how much please? I'm interested in seeing your opinion as to how much bulk is added to the phone with each too please so the actual measurements of each case would be very gratefully received.

My Slim Amor at home, can't measure for you now.

Slim Amor is much thicker than Neo Hybrid. Maybe extra 01.mm to 0.2mm on Slim Amor.

Can you please share your thoughts on the Tough Case? I notice the hard shell does not wrap around the entire body of the phone. How do you think this affects phone protection, if any?

Someone has indeed measured and weighed both and posted their results around here somewhere. Unfortunately, who did so is escaping me at the moment. And I can't remember if it was in this thread or the thread about the neo vs slim. If I remember right, they said that contrary to what everyone has been saying, the neo is indeed slimmer than the slim armor.

LOVE MEI smoked pull type metal bumper for GALAXY NOTE 3 - Love mei

All cut-outs are precise,volume rocker & power button both work very well,just the perfect amount of tension for ease of use w/o the sponginess for accidental pressing while pocketed/holstered/etc.....

As for feel-in-hand,all cases I've used push this to the edge,as the phone is large enough w/o a case,so,I can't be the judge as to how this would be for someone else.

The finish is flawless (GLOSS BLACK),however,I'm considering using the sand/bead blaster @ work to give it more of a matte finish/rougher texture,for a better,more secure feel-in-hand.

As for compatibility/fit,works w/the standard battery cover,as well as the QI-ENABLED OEM SAMSUNG Battery cover.However,it does not fit on extended battery covers for the HYPERION or ANKER 6400 Extended battery,due to the lack of contour/radius on the top & bottom of the extended battery cover.

As for protection,this is a bumper-only case,providing edge-only protection.There is ample protection on the front face of the bumper for screen protection when the phone is placed face-down on a surface.

I recommend this case,but,definitely look around for better pricing (e-Bay/AMAZON/MOBILE FUN.etc)......

I finally found a kickstand design that fits my needs;

However since I've been using the I-Blason I've really fell in love with this form factor for the actual case itself

Has anyone seen a case designed like the second image that has a vertical kickstand?

I picked up the Otterbox Defender today, removing the screen. It fits much tighter than the Note 2 did.

I've bought the non slider one and love it. Would be even better with buttons rather than cut outs. Keeps the phones OE profile and saves the frame getting damaged if dropped.

Yes sir,it is.This is definitely a more practical option vs some other 2-piece aluminum bumpers that have the screws holding it together.

It's a nice bumper,as for added size,it's not a low profile bumper,but doesn't add as much,compared to this TPU one:

As w/any metal cases,this one has some rather crisp edges vs a more contoured/rounded shape.Not necessarily a bad thing,but,I've found this can be tiresome if you're one to use your phone for a greatly extended period of time throughout the day.Not an issue w/horizontal use,but,could be when gripping in the vertical for an extended period.
Of course,if your hand size is above average,all of this becomes a non-issue.

Either way,it's a nice looking & excellent fitting bumper case.You won't be disappointed should you choose to get one for yourself.

Thanks Kolio. As my post somewhere i this thread says, i am looking at a bumper possibly to go with an OEM charging cover, if/when I decide to get that.

I've got the Spigen Neo Hybrid Satin Silver arriving tomorrow which will do me in the meantime.

I'm currently using an unbranded TPU case that is both cheap and nasty but does protect the phone, which turned up yesterday afternoon.
