Note 3 cases?

I have the Defender on it. I like it!

what you think of these two cases

I have the Spigen Neo Hybrid case on. Supposed to protect the phone well, never dropped my phone though so couldn't confirm how well ;-). Also have a tempered glass screen protector on which appears to offer more protection than a standard plastic one, not to mention the screen is much brighter :)

Depends how much protection you need for your phone? I think with the second image you've posted of the blue case, that acts similar to the official Samsung flip cases? It looks like it doesn't protect the sides of the phone and I know from experience that's not a good thing :p - back on the S3 flip case is slippy so when I moved my table my partners phone slipped and hit the leg, of course it was on the side where the case didn't protect and left a dent and that was no more than 3 feet.

Otterbox Commuter without a doubt. Don't even think about the Otterbox Defender unless you want to transform your GN3 into a gigantic, morbidly obese hunk of plastic and rubber that also looks HIDEOUS.

I was going to buy the second case lucky i did not buy it

i want a case that is slim not bulky that will protected the phones front back

I have the Spigen Bounce, and am happy with it. It covers the back and sides, and provides a rim around the front to protect the display if the phone is dropped. It fits perfectly, allows a decent grip, and isn't difficult to slide in or out of a pocket. And it was $11.

I used a sleeve case for years with my Galaxy S2 before getting the Note 3. I loved the sleeve case because it protected the phone well, yet when I take the phone out of the sleeve the phone is not encumbered by a clumsy case that gets in my way and makes it not fit in my pocket.

When I got the Note 3 the first thing I did was shop for a sleeve case for it. I found it on eBay:

The seller shipped it immediately, although it still took six days to get here from China. The cost was all of US $2.82. You can keep your overpriced cases; I'm very happy with my little sleeve case.

I need a sturdy 'slim profile' case that fits in the desktop charger. I use my Note 3 as my clock-calendar-weather display in my bedroom. I got the S View last week. Nice looking case (cover) that makes your device look elegant or professional. The S View 'window' is very 'cool' and has some functionality as you might know. You can access your camera, action memo, and music without flipping the cover and opening your device. 'However' the disappointing thing is that cool desktop animation that shows when your device is docked does NOT when you are using the S View. You need to find a way to keep the lid open so the desktop animation kicks in. Not practical.
The Spigen Neo Hybrid looks very good.
Does anyone here know if it enables smooth docking?

I assume you mean the one without the front view cover?
I don't have it for the Note 3 but, I did have the Slim Armor and Neo Hybrid for my iPhone 5 and much preferred the Neo which is why I chose that for the Note 3. I liked that the Neo covers all the corners where as the Armor didn't.
I am tempted to get the Slim Armor View case though and see how I like that as it looks like it offers up the most protection of the Spigen cases available (that I've seen).
I wasn't sure about the Bounce case, there was something I liked about it but, at the end of the day it's just an expensive gel case imo :p so I didn't get it.
Think the Urban Armor Gear is supposed to offer more protection than the Spigen Neo/Armor but, I personally think it looks horrendous lol. I know I couldn't have it on my phone anyway.

Slim Armor View case looks ok but it is not my type of case

the Urban Armor Gear for me looks bad

the Bounce case looks like a waste of money

i did not no the Neo Hybrid covers all the coners im getting it

i seen the Duty Dual Layer TPU on ebay it looks nices but i want to find out if it is slim or bulky

i just want to get around 3 to 5 cases so i never will worry looking for a case wen i get sick of the case i had on my note 3 for a long time
sorry for my bad english

No best case for everybody. We all have our preferences. I find the hardened glass my first priority. I'm using the Spigen now because when I got it it was the best option. I want edge protection for when (not if) I drop it. I have the Otterbox Defender on since they first went on sale for Note 3. It adds some bulk but I want that protection when I finally screw up and drop it. It provides grip when I hold it which I do alot. It still fits in my iOttie dashmout and can still take a plugged in charger. I don't use a desk mount so I can't comment on that. Otterbox is expensive but I'm willing to pay for assurance that when my beloved Note 3 takes a six foot tumble onto asphalt it's going to have the best protection I can give it.

I liked the first one you asked me about.

I do like the Defender, I do not think it is ugly at all. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. :)

I like the protection it offers, bottom line.

Does anyone know if the Seidio belt clip for the Note 3 works with other cases like the otterbox commuter or UAG cases? Thanks

I got in a hurry earlier and misspoke. I have the Commuter, not the Defender. It provides plenty of protection for me and is a bit lighter.

tried the Slim Armor, and although it fits and looks nicely, it does not 'dock' well...another waste for me...

My vote is for the Otterbox Commuter with Spigen tempered glass. I really like having the safe feeling with all that protection.

I've been looking for a nice/quality brown leather folio type case/replacement battery cover rather than one that the phone sits in.

I have some spigen slim armour (which arent slim) and various others but nothing that looks real quality.

I noticed Noreve announced some Horizon cases yesterday which look top quality but can't find any for the N3 just yet.

Any ideas? I don't want a window case, it must be leather, slim and preferably a battery cover replacement.

I have the pink replacement back by ANLEY. Its called a Bubble pack battery cover replacement and fits more snuggly than the original back did. Unfortunately, it doesn't come in brown but it does come in quite a variety of other colors. You can find it on Amazon. They run around $8.00 plus shipping. I had a seriously hard time choosing between light pink, coral pink and that really pretty green!

I don't think the glass screen is a must with the UAG cases unless you're afraid of it landing on a small object that would impact the screen (like a rock) from a drop. Otherwise the following link is my unintended "crash and drop test" with the UAG for my Galaxy S3: http://androidforums.com/samsung-galaxy-s3/561515-gs3-case-discussion-thread-35.html#post6028284. I only had a basic flimsy screen protector on it. The Note 3 UAG of course is built with the same ruggedness and quality.

I also have the UAG Slate Blue for my Note 3, but I recently swapped it out for the Spigen Neo Hyrbrid as I wanted something with less bulk. This is a very nice case, but I'll definitely be adding a tempered glass screen protector. The Neo Hybrid will be my daily driver, and then I'll swap out for the UAG when I'm out playing or at the gym.
