Hi all , my first ever post. Just updated have shocking lag using any browser . Marketplace has loads of things missing. Can't find any gameloft games for example. Going to rollback using ruu Rom and try again

Same here :)

Says my actual village now rather than my city.

You are lucky guys, because if I chose to show Current Location in Clock widget it says Cambridge (Current) and "No weather data available" (same was in 2.1). I don't know what to do about it... So if I change my location(city or country) I need to re-add Clock widget and change town manually...

okay and how about just unlocking it? will i get the update if id unlock my phone? or do i have to debrand it as well?

Try it if you like, but I'm leaving my Orange branded Desire well alone until Orange release the software themselves. Look at some of the posts here and you'll see there are some teething troubles with the software at the moment, so if we wait they may fix them (or add some more). Patience. It's not a race.

Updated and installed 2.2 waiting in my Dr. office.
Jerusalem.

Immediate improvement of WiFi signal.

Some widget changes (symbols).

Unfortunately most of my installed programs do not (yet) want to move to SD card.

Thanks HTC

Does it make a difference whether you have GPS on or not?

Having trouble with this - put in my Gold Card, turned phone on, connected via USB. Ran the "update" (downgrade) on the desktop. Desktop is sat on "Verifying information on your Android phone. Please wait..." and phone is in re-boot cycle. No idea what to do.
Having similar goldcard troubles, except I've lost the option to connect to my phone via USB - only have options for tethering, HTC Synch or charge only?

What you dont wanna lose your warranty hence why your not un-branding it.

Im so tempted to unbrand mine but it looks kinda tricky.

Hi first post!

I've just installed 2.2 on my unlocked unbranded desire from CPW. All seems well except I can't connect to my wireless network any more. I've tried rebooting and tried setting up a new connection. I just keep getting "Obtain IP adress from .........." but it never connects.

Can anyone help?

Dave

Guys, when I go to the Market -> Downloads, it says to me "No downloads from Android Market" , but my apps works. How I can solve that ?

Did anyone manage to use bluetooth voice dialing? If I double tap my bluetooth headset action button the phone will call my last called contact, but if I press it only once I believe the phone should show the voice dial menu, but nothing happens instead.

I can't believe they left it off. Just like xanderg, this was my most expected feature.
