Root Official CyanogenMod 13.0 for LG L70 D320 D320n D325 MS323

Hey guys,

This is my first post here, so, hi everyone.

Well, I own an LG L70 MS323 and I've installed your mod. Currently, I'm running the latest nightly release, mostly without any issues.

I just want to report what seems to be a bug.

Some neighborhoods in my city have no cellphone signal. When I cross these regions by car, the cellphone connection naturally goes off, but then it isn't reestablished automatically, as I believe it's supposed to. I have to navigate to "network providers/available networks" then manually perform a scan and select my carrier manually.

That's it. Thanks for all the effort to bring this amazing mod to the L70. It's brought my cellphone back to life.

M.
I have a LG MS 325 as well and just want to ask if the issue has been resolved yet so that i know i can install the latest nightly without any problems.

If I set SD as internal storage and decide to wipe the system in recovery, then do all installed apps going to be deleted?
if I recall correctly, the last time I wipe the system before flashing, all my installed apps still intact, some just need to be reconfigured.
just want to make sure, I don't want to reinstall all over again.

Are you sure your phone model is MS 325 and not 323? :)
As for the issue, it was reported by one MS323 user so far, so lets hope it's not common for your submodel. I don't experience it with my D320N.
I've been using CM13 since it was first ported and can assure you the ROM is great and almost flawless. These so called "bugs" are now just little annoyances that don't actually spoil the fun. You may use CM13 as your daily driver as I do.

Hi,
you need to know that changes made to CM13 are not solely based on what we suggest here :)
Your issue may be specific only to your device, and not really related to CM itself. I haven't seen other MS323 users commenting on it, at least for now.
I own the D320N and have been using roaming many time without problems, with automatic reconnection of course.

But, you can always look through the official changelog to see if there's something that interests you within a specific nightly. Thus, you can make a decision to update already, or wait.

Sorry if this is an inconvenience (so many questions right?) but do calls and cellular data work fine on the MS323? And is the root feature fixed cause the last time I had CM 13, I couldn't use Link2SD as root wasn't authorized or something.

SMS/MMS/calling/mobile data should work just fine. Sometimes you need to wait a bit to establish mobile data connection, but it's OK.
As for root, it works as it should. If one doesn't like the inbuilt root manager, you may always flash the newest SuperSu from within TWRP (links are also in this thread if you need them).

I saw someone reporting the same issues. I'm on 20160606 nightly, which is the best for me, so I think this issue might occur in recent nightlies.

Is there someone else having this "phone app" issue or can confirm if it's fixed with the latest nightly?

Thank you so much man! Followed every forum from unlocking my bootloader, making a recovery, and downloading GAPPS and CM 13 without a hitch! Everything worked more flawlessly than ever! Before there were so many bugs that I had to resort back to LG Stock Android. But now, CM 13 has improved vastly! Thank you for helping me out man! (P.S. The recovery I had before was ClockworkMod recovery which made CM 13 install incorrectly to begin with leaving my phone with more bugs than intended!

No problem :) I'm really glad you made it all by yourself through reading and learning. This is how it should be done :)

I see you're an enthusiast :) Good to have you here. You may always start developing too, if you have this Android spark ;)
I'm having issues now that I can't find on this forum! I get BSOD whenever connecting my phone as well as the phone never appearing on Windows! I tried MTP and Debugging and it still wouldn't pop up! Also, the adaptable storage is not working as once done with process, it says "Not enough storage space" when there is clearly nothing on the SD Card?

Also tried using Link2SD with the sd card having to be partitioned exactly how its supposed to. But even then, Link2SD keeps putting the not able to mount script error.

It actually is mentioned here a few times :p. Use Google Adb drivers instead of LG drivers. It should do the trick.

For those who keep getting mount script error on Link2SD try this

Partition the sd card on computer.

When you initially get a mount script error, reset permissions on corresponding block devices, like so:
(Use a terminal on phone to do this, located in developer settings)
su

chmod -R 777 /dev/block/mmcblk1p2

chmod -R 777 /dev/block/mmcblk1p1

chmod -R 777 /dev/block/mmcblk1

Mount script will then work.

for cm-13.0-20160628-NIGHTLY-w5, should it back to stock partition table?
because my twrp only show flashing bar, and like stop at the step "patching system image unconditionally".

Latest nightly = wifi battery drain?
Because i flashed latest nightly on my G2 and look what happend...
