If you have a shared plan and are the primary phone on the account, you are entitled to a phone upgrade every 12 months. This is from Sprint about the Premier benefit
"To thank you for choosing us, we treat you to incredible savings on primary phone upgrades every 12 months--10 months earlier than our standard offers (requires a 2-year service agreement). We also waive the upgrade fee, and, if you upgrade online, you can forget the shipping and activation fees. "

New dual-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon chips shipping for Android devices | Android Central can we say... EVO 2... I know we don't even have the EVO in our hands and I'm talkin EVO 2.... don't judge me![]()

After I ordered mine, I couldn't log into the website anymore, so I e-mailed them and they told me that the GA wouldn't come BUT, I got it in the mail last week. YMMV
Ditto. Mine showed up on Friday. It's the first item I've purchased from Ghost Armor...the feel of it impressed me. Very smooth, no sticky feel that I notice...can't wait to slap it on my EVO Friday morning.

does anyone know where to buy any of the nicer screen protectors (ghost armor, zagg, etc.) at a brick & mortar store?
thanks!

Wow, played with one at a Sprint store on lunch, they just got it in Fri. Ran it through the paces, great phone. I'm even more excited to have mine in my hands!

Haha, I didn't even open mine yet because I don't want it to get messed up before I put it on my EVO!
I'm on the phone with them now - just found out they changed the primary line when I added a line - if Sprint weren't so cheap, withthe Evo coming out...

What ever you guys do, make sure you follow the directions on the packaging and maybe watch a video or two on youtube... (No EVO vid's I could find, yet)
1.) Remove the battery / since the water dmg indicator is exposed, be carful not to spray it / get it wet.
2.) Once you've removed the battery / disassembled the EVO, wash your hands very well.
3.) Spray your hands with the spray included and above all else don't over do it with the spray on the skin (don't drench it).
4.) When using the squeegee, be carful when trying to even out the skin while removing air bubbles... you can burn the skin and cause it to stretch (the size doesn't distort, but it's clarity may)
Worse comes to worse and you screw up order a replacement... it "FREE" + Shipping is approximately $5.... Once on though let it dry for at least a half hour before you start using it... if you can give it as long as you can (i.e couple of hours)
GOOD LUCK![]()
when did you place the order that showed up friday?
So when did you guys (gal) order yours? Just curious as to how long it takes to ship. I'm on the east coast so I'm guessing 3 days.

I keep seeing stuff about keeping your hands clean and sprayed. Would it not be wiser just to buy some cheap latex gloves and use those when applying the screens?

I ordered mine on 5/8/2010, so the wait was about 3 weeks.
No actually I think that's probably the worst thing you could do. Now I've only put one set of skins (Touch Pro) on but the skin on your finger is going to stay moist much better then a latex glove and you don't want the skin's sticky side sticking to those latex gloves because I would think that once it hits a dry spot on the latex that it's stuck forever and you'd have a major disaster!
Just my two cents
NO!.... don't, it may bond and create a spot or spot's on the skin it's self. There is virtually no adhesive on the skin, but I wouldn't trust anything but bare hands. Just spray a bit and you good. Take your time.
I had the ZAGG on my Touch Pro2 and found it had a negative impact on screen sensitivity and even after several months, it felt a bit tacky and my finger would not move smoothly over it.
Noted. Didn't realize latex could bond so quickly with the shields.
any input on phantom skinz?
