I'm assuming the 10$ applies for everyone even though it is pretty unfair if they aren't in a 4G area. I guess it's harder for me to understand because I'm in 4G heaven

Class action lawsuit anyone? It's never a good idea to make people pay extra fees for something can't access. lol
I thought it said $29.99 for the mobile hotspot, and the $10 add on seems to be a surcharge for 4g.....
He never said that.
I am going to stick to my guns on this one. I have not herd that 4G is not included in the $69 unlimited plan or $99 unlimited plan. I will say if that is the case, bring this puppy on, and let me root this SOB. I wrote the code for Sprints 4G. I will be the first to post a work around and provide free access to 4G for everyone with in a 4G signal. (POS) I feel $99 per mo is more than reasonable.

Dan Hesse did say it was going to be free.

While your at it, maybe create your own mobile hot spot app as well

GUYS WAIT A SECOND. I just got an emai from Sprint about the phone 69.99 OR if it is the business plan it is 59.99 and THEN the $10 add on!
The $10 dollar add on is just for the business plan according to this email!
First timer here after only finding the forum a few days ago.
IMO the 10 buck add-on will in the end get dropped. The FCC is looking out for consumers lately and with Dan Hesse being on record as saying wimax is cheaper, if they actually try to charge that I can easily see the FCC coming in and raising a stink about it. Especially if enough consumers raise a fuss about it. I agree 10 bucks doesn't seem like much on face value but it adds up in a hurry. What if I travel a lot for business and use my phone in non 4G areas am I to get a credit on the account for those time periods. I hope it gets dropped I would be hard pressed to pay it each month.

No those words never once came out of his mouth.
He is also said that they were not going to charge extra for 4G.
