There is a whole thread dedicated to the various differences between the classes of microsd cards here. Search for class 6 and you will find it. In my limited understanding the higher the class, the faster the WRITE speed, doesn't really effect me. And yes...it will work in this phone.

Meh. All this video shows is a couple stock Android 2.1 things. You could watch 100 Incredible videos and see the same thing.

I'd like to see some EVO/Sprint specific leaks ... things like 4G speed tests in the wild (not in a conference room with a boosted signal for the media). Maybe some of the Sprint-installed apps. I.e., stuff I haven't already seen on the Incredible.
 
I know yours is but I think tye were questioning another persons link from New Egg or somewhere else that said 16 gig Class 6 for 46 bucks. I may get the one your talking about.

edit: it even says what it is right in the link Transcend 16GB MicroSD Memory Card w/ SD Adapter, TS16GUSDHC2 like I said, it looked too good to be true so I ordered one to see if it was legit. I only posted the link after I'd received and tested the product.

The only thing that concerns me about the evo is battery life. I'm going to be going on a 2 hour bus trip to san antonio every other week I need it to last O_O. I'm gonna do a lot of heavy battery testing, if it doesn't hold enough charge I might have to get a bigger battery like 2000mah. Hoping they will release one when the evo is launched :D
 
Yikes. I just went to my local Best Buy, and they said they were out of preorders for the EVO, and the guy warned me that most of the other nearby Sprint / BB stores were also 'sold out' already. So I went to Radio Shack and got my preorder there with no issues! There was literally no one else in the store when I went in (Sunday afternoon). The cashier was looking at pictures of an EVO on her iPhone at the time too, it was perfect :D

Glad I knew to check Radioshack, since I think the 'average' person only knows about the Best Buy preorder. Anyone else run into trouble getting an EVO preordered yet?

wow. what area are you that BB was sold out of preorders?
 
Greets all..Has anyone herd what is going to be included in the boxing of EVO. I was wondering if Sprint is going to include HDMI cable vs USB for charging. I have herd rumors that charging on the EVO is going to be via HDMI port and not USB? I thought this might have some relevance since both work similar to each other.

Take this with a grain of salt...

My dad just pre-ordered from Radioshack and the manager told him his Sprint Rep had said Milwaukee was getting 4G in October. This was after my dad had placed his order so I don't see why he would just make it up. Milwaukee hasn't been mentioned in any of Sprint or Clearwire's press releases regarding new 4G cities so perhaps we're due for another announcement with more cities getting 4G in 2010? Possible I suppose.

I remember when I got my first MSD card, a 128 MB SanDisk for my Motorola V710, and it was $75! LOL

pretty sure an hdmi will not be included.

but since you're here, have you heard any more confirmation or can you shed some more light on the whole radio shack releasing/selling the EVO's on the 29th? is that still a go to your knowledge?
