Old news I like how Bek got quoted in there. Glad to see he got a working fix...
First of all Hopalee.... you know you love it
Secondly... I just got back from BB and double... no triple checked my pre-order status.. and the manager pulled mine out and showed me that I was good and so on. 1st... last... don't give a hoot... as long as it's mine.
Lastly, The Mobile Manager had one out to play with and WOW.... WOW.... I can't describe it's weight and feel.... text resizes perfectly and sites come up perfectly.... Tomorrow will be forever known as E-Day...
Hey TS.... how bout E-Day Thread?!?!![]()

And others might be waiting to gauge the reaction to this wonder device before going and obtaining their own EVOs.Some of us are hyperventilating, some of us are in psych ward at our local hospital after having fits with RS/BB/EVP. and some of us are just quietly and patiently waiting for tomorrow to pick up the EVO and scream out like girl scouts meeting Smokey the Bear for the first time. lol
TS
If I wasn't so tired I would go by BB just from your thread. I guess i will just read the manual until I fall asleep.
This really is a big deal for me coming from my Diamond which i have had almost two years. In being a premier customer, I will probably upgrade every year around this time, or whenever the best deal is on a new phone after the june fourth.

I heard that Sprint was offering it to customers who were out of contract and who were willing to renew (and still keep their $150 discount eligibility). I spoke to retentions earlier in May to confirm they would do this for me and they said yes. I was going to wait until today to do it, but then people were saying that Sprint was pulling the plug on the offer because so many people were asking for it to offset the Evo data charge. So I called late last week to pull the trigger.
Today I just wanted to confirm that the change was made before I went in tomorrow to buy the Evo.

Today for some reason I called just to ask something about the EVO and was told I was eligible for aone time 50 dollars which I took of course. I sold my TP2 for 150 so now my Sprint account has a 200 dollar credit.
They keep telling me I have a $50 credit available on two lines if I renew the contract, but despite people here getting that and keeping their $150 upgrade credit for a new phone, several reps have told me that if I take the $50 I lose the upgrade. These are managers and supervisor reps who know their stuff, and I've checked with a few of them and gotten the same answer. I would hate to get to best buy to pick up the Evo and have to pay full price, so I passed on the $50.

Sure make the poll if you want.I agree.... +1
Hey TS, wanna take a few more suggestions and start a poll or something?
I'm sure the community will think of something... I'm hungry........ EVO!
The author actually contacted me earlier today, asking to interview me for this piece. All I did was reiterate my experiences that I've already detailed in the Troubleshooting thread.
I'm interested that HTC has apparently chimed in, admitting that it was a software fault. I'm looking forward to finding out what it's all about.
