You've done the initial OTA update, correct?

Could not agree more with this. Absolutely loving the multitask button, makes everything SO much faster and easier and more intuitive. Great, great feature.

Yeah, I got the OTA and I'm running 4.0.2 right now. If there is an update after that I haven't gotten it.
Should have made clear that the kitchen i work in has 1 foot think concrete walls and is in the middle of a building. Depending on were I move to in the place, i can get decent 2G signal. As far as radios go, I think its better than my Desire, even though the two devices show the same amount of signal. Browsing was a lot faster, but that may be down to the ICS browser being the best around.
What is 2G?
So far my experience has been lackluster. I am coming from the Thunderbolt so I am used to disappointment. The OS and hardware seems pretty awesome but I can no hold a data connection for more than 30 or 40 seconds. I live in Metro Detroit and in a SOLID 4g area that I have to drive at least 35 minutes to get to 3g coverage. Unfortunatly my issue isn't just connecting to 4g but 3g and 1x as well. I get 4g for about 30 seconds, then no data of anykind for several minutes. Then I'll get 3g for 40 seconds and back to no data. I know people have said the radios for Samsung kind of suck but this is insane. Any suggestions?
I was in a video call and couldn't hold the connection for more than 2 minutes with it...its awful...phone calls dropping like crazy. But its just this phone in this house. Full 3g on my X, my brother in laws X, and my sisters dinc2. I should be getting a stable 4g connection, instead I can barely hold a 3g connection. Went golfing and it seemed to hold 4g just fine, but that doesn't explain the awful 3g in our house. How are your data transfer rates doing? (Trying to see if this is just an issue of bars displayed versus an actual connection deficiency)
I have been playing with my phone non stop since 930 this morning. I feel that it is the best Android experience to date. I have owned over 12 different android phones, and this one blows them all away. I personally am not fond of OEM UI's on top of android. And from the test vid of Samsung's build of ICS for the S2, I am glad I have the Nexus. I have annihilated the batter, but again, it hasn't really left my hands since I got it. I picked up the extra battery with charger for 30 at VZW. So that makes it nice to not really have to plug the phone in. Just swap the batteries out and continue throughout my day. The rent-z-razr was nice, but the Nexus takes the cake!
I am happy with all the bells and whistles that everyone comments about, but I am EXTREMELY disappointed with the radio's, seeing as I am in the middle of an LTE area and I am only getting 1 bar of 3g...VERY disappointing. The radios are very weak compared to my X. NEVER had an issue with my X.
wow....there is absolutely zero..i mean ZEROOOOOO lag in the keyboard. that alone amazes me.
the camera zero shutter lag is awesome
..but i'm not liking the white background of the stock messaging app
i will continue to use stock for a while to get a good feel for it.
what about the battery guys???
without the 4G cause i know 4G drains it FAST
