I know it gets under some of your skins........... but it looks like blackmanx is gonna throw down a poem over in the AC forums....................just fyi

Actually BMX is very reliable for the most part. I

So the Windsock posted a picture of the SGN side by side with the RAZR. The SGN is thinner than I thought it would be. The RAZR was super thin when I handled it in the store.

scaled.php

it looks similar because of the camera hump on the razr, and im pretty sure they claim the thinness based on the non hump portion, so in reality the camera hump is probably very very close to the overall thickness of the gnex

I was super interested in this contest...then saw that it would take 12 weeks to receive the phone...then saw that it would take 2 weeks to even be notified if I won...no thanks I will just buy mine on launch day or whenever orders start!

I was told there would be no math.

His poem will be something like this:

"Before the Turkeys bake, the nexus will be there to take."

It will be pointless, stupid, have several typos, and tell us nothing new... but it will make him appear to be so "in the know"

P3, for whatever it's worth, has actually been much more forthcoming than BMX the past few weeks.

why does it seem like people are already writing off the contest as not even worth trying? i mean if it takes 12 weeks to get the phone, so be it. go buy yours on launch day, when the free one comes in put it on ebay or craigslist or something. profit. winning.

Well can't speak for everyone, but in my opinion, I don't feel like spending time with brain teasers and weird puzzles, all against 20 million geeks in 20 countries, with everyone scrambling for only 7 phones.

yea, i totally agree with that as the odds are just crazy, but i have seen more than a couple of people say they didnt want to participate because of the up to 12 week wait on the phone. just trying to point out that patience can be rewarded with some profit in the end, lol

Or if you had 2 you could always master-beam with yourself.

Actually BMX is very reliable for the most part. I’d be interested in what he has to say. Link?

You talk about P3 being a windsock, attention whore. How about if you have something to say, just say it and not write an illiterate poem. Any of us can guess VERY close to the actual release date now. And BMX first said the 3rd, then said the 10th... third guess is the charm?

Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

You know, following GNex news has taken a lot of the joy out of weekends for me. There's never any quality news on the weekend. LOL

If the phone comes out in 12 weeks im jumping boat to the Rezound considering i have a eNV3 on its deathbed i cant wait all to long.

I think the point there was the delivery time on the contest.

Verizon has promised this phone "before the end of the year."

Naturally, we're betting on earlier. :)

Went to Costco today and held the Razr in my hands. Not bad. The lady there said there has been a lost of interest in the Galaxy Nexus... She even knew more about it than the Rezound! That alone gave me hope for a release very soon.

DAMN STRAIGHT! We have LIVES!!!!!

It has been an EPIC day here on this thread so far. Just like a soap opera.
Laughing, crying, ranting, spanking, talking back, ETC...:p:)

What you guys that bash BMX don't seem to realize is that there's a ton of difference in being "THE SOURCE" vs. someone being fed info.

It's a helluva lot more safe for P3Droid, Kellex, Phil, whomever to say something then it is for someone who works directly for Google. He puts his job on the line every single time he says something.

Edit: I don't think what he's going to do is going to include the release date. He's said several times that it's up to VZW and he can't share that.

I was just about to post this. Spot on.

BMX works for Google. While he does have access to a ton of information, he is risking his employment by saying too much. That's why he has to be cryptic.

He also doesn't have info on the release date, since that is coming from Verizon.

With all that said, I don't prefer cryptic messages. Say something in confidence to a reporter, not make us read between the lines and obsess over dates like Batman's father or the color of the eyes of Superman's third cousin. Stuff the iambic pentameter and just say it, or say it to someone who can repeat the info. That's how it's always been done.

But now there's "social networking" where they have the platform to say "look at me, look at me!!!". So they're walking the fine line of trying not to say to much, but also trying to get as many people as possible looking at them.
